The First of Many Feelings
Sparkle's Adventure: Chapter 1: Mini Comic

Sparkle heard the bushes rustling from her entrance of her hideout. She yawned, she hadn't realized she fallen asleep. She hid in her hideout again from her sister teasing her about Isaac. (Can't she just drop it already! He's my friend and that's it.) Though Diana has been on her tail since they hugged months back. She's brought up more since she heard about the Attract exploding. Sparkle stretched and greeted the guest that was coming in her hideout.
Only one mon knew how to get through, besides her.
"Hey, Isaac."
The Riolu was sorta ruffled, looking a bit exhausted. "Hey."
"What happened?" Sparkle asked.
"Jolt happened, then your sister again." Isaac plopped on the ground, near the edge of the cliff that was at the end of her hideout. The view could see the entire lake and parts of the forest. Isaac stared out in the distance. The sun was getting ready to set. "And her friend, Nero was backing her up again."
"Was Jolt rough on ya?" Sparkle asked, tensing up a little as she sat next to him. It had been nearly three weeks since the Pikachu challenged Isaac, and last time Jolt tried to attack after clearly losing to him. Sparkle was still under the attraction when she stepped in and taken the hit. Also embarrassing herself in front of him. Luckily, Isaac never brought it up. Like it didn't even happen.
Isaac only shrugged. "Not really, same old, same old. Same old sore loser." Isaac sighed and lying back, staring at the sky.
Sparkle noticed that something was bothering him. It took several moments before Sparkle finally spoke. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." Isaac mumbled. "Just thinking...."
"About what?" Sparkle tilted her head in confusion.
Isaac turned to his side, his back to her. "Nothing...Don't worry about it..."
Suddenly, Sparkle began to become concern. "What happened?!"
"Nothing, nothing. It's nothing..." Isaac only answered.
"Come on, Isaac, you can tell me anything. I won't laugh. Or anything." Sparkle's heart began to race with worry. "Did Jolt say something? Did he say something about your trainer? Did you do something? Did-"
"OK, Enough!" Isaac snapped, he jerked up to where he was sitting, but leaning on his paw hands. The tone made Sparkle flinched.
Something sparked inside of Sparkle, and it was anger. "Well, excuse me for being a darn friend, Isaac! I worry about you too, ya know! I have feelings too! I just want to make sure you're freakin' ok and not dying or anything! I don't like to see you upset, sheesh."
Isaac flinched, realizing that he did cross the line, looked down at the ground and wrapped his arms around his legs. "Sorry...."
Sparkle sighed, letting the anger go. "Don't get all snappy at me when I'm only trying to help."
"It's just....something's been on my mind for awhile.....few weeks to be honest..." Isaac breathed slowly and spoke slowly, like he was making sure he was wording correctly.
"About what?"
Isaac buried his face in his arms, hiding his eyes. Somehow, Sparkle knew he was embarrassed. (This ain't good....) Finally Isaac spoke, but he muffled against his fur, it was hard to hear what exactly what he was saying, but Sparkle thought she heard something about the Attract scene.
"Isaac, I can't really hear you when you bury your face in your arms." Sparkle felt her heart racing again. (Why would he bring that up? He knows I don't even remember what even happened. All I know is from what I heard, I don't remember actually doing anything....Except when I woke up and saw his....eyes...and that we were almost...about to....) Sparkle knew what happened after she was attracted. Volteer and Iron told her everything, Isaac eventually told the rest of it when they weren't around during the scene.
Isaac breathed out and lift his head, resting his chin on his arms. Somehow, Sparkle found this a bit cute. He didn't answer right away, instead he kept staring at the sun getting ready to set. Sparkle just waited and studied him. He breathed out slowly, and he looked very deep in thought, a breeze made his fur wave. Sparkle's heart felt it was going to burst, she didn't understand why. She knew the Attract itself was long gone, but why was she still feeling like something was still there? Like a feeling that was begging her to just cuddle up beside him and he wrap him arm around her. Were these really feelings? Feelings of.....Love?
(NO!) Sparkle shook her head and looked away. (That's just....ugh...Why would I even think that? It's just weird. Him and me? We're too young to even go that way. By the time I'm older, I'm sure this will be long gone, and I'll forget all about it.....Besides he's bound to go back to his trainer at some point. What's the point even building anything? As much as I respect that he has a trainer, I don't want one myself. I want to be free and explore. Have an adventure! Meet new mons and see new places! A trainer would just slow me down!) Sparkle sighed, but somehow she felt disappointment inside her.
"Ok...." Isaac finally spoke, that Sparkle turned her head to him, cursing herself for looking again. However, Sparkle saw he was blushing. "This is going to be...the weirdest thing ever...but...."
"I won't laugh." Sparkle said simply.
Isaac seemed more embarrassed, it looked like he was going to bury his face again, but instead he tried to avoid eye contact. "Ever since that....incident...with you being.....attracted.....It makes me...wonder if we...had actually...." He trailed off and placed his face in his paws, clearly super embarrassed. "Oh my Arceus, this is embarrassing." He muffled in his paws. He pulled his paws down, while actually gripping his face and finally he spoke. "Ifweactuallykissed!"
Sparkle only blinked. He spoke way too fast for her to actually catch it. "Eh...what?"
"Ugh!" Isaac groaned and hid his face in his knees.
"Isaac, I couldn't understand you. You spoke too fast for me to catch." Sparkle said calmly. "I can see you're embarrassed, but come on, it can't be that bad."
There was silence from him, then he finally pulled his face out from hiding, which was looking at her. He didn't speak yet, instead he turned completely towards her, where he was facing her. Sparkle suddenly felt nervous, but she didn't move. Instead Isaac reached out and grabbed her left arm and pulled her towards him. Their noses where toughing, and their eyes were locked on each other. Sparkle felt totally confused and somewhat scared of what was going on.
"I want to know what's it's like to kiss you." Isaac finally spoke. She could feel his breath, they were that close.
But the confusion and nervousness faded into curiosity and amusement. "Wait...that's what you were so embarrassed about?"
"Don't laugh!" Isaac finally let go of her arm and turned away from her, blushing red. "It ain-isn't funny!"
"I'm not." Sparkle scoffed, not in a rude way, but in an amusing way. "I'm just surprised that has bothered you. Really, why has it?"
Isaac shrugged, and got back into the position he was before, his arms hugging his legs, but his chin was resting on his arms. "I don't know. At first it was weird, ok, but...I don't know....I just wanted to know what it was like, was all. Is that too much to ask?"
Sparkle sighed, "No, but I have never kissed anyone either, but I'm not that curious as you are...I hadn't really thought about it, ya know. I mean I have but I tried to push those out because of the Attract. But ever since Iron gave me the medicine, I just wanted to put it in the past, ya know..." Sparkle sighed hopelessly when she notice she wasn't saying things right.
Surprisingly, Isaac didn't seem upset about it. "I guess I understand that, but....you really hadn't thought about it?" He was looking at her.
Sparkle was frozen. In a way, she didn't want to admit it, but this was Isaac. She could trust him. "I think everyone is curious at some point.....I'm no different....I've thought about here and there. And that was after everything. When I was back to normal."
"So you....don't mind if we did....k..kiss?" He stuttered the word "kiss".
Sparkle felt half excited, half nervous, and half worried, she didn't really want to because this was her best friend. Wasn't that weird? Them kissing? However, it wasn't like they were in love or anything. So maybe it wasn't too bad, besides her heart was screaming for it. Either that it was just racing because of the anxiety she was feeling. She never kissed anyone before, except Isaac on the cheek, but that was nothing compared to what Isaac was wanting. He was wanting an actual kiss, like her parents did or like when mon who were in love. She rubbed her left arm, she became embarrassed herself.
"I....I....I don't mind....but....I never...done it before....s...sooo...I don't know if I can....do it." She spoke the truth.
"Well....Diana isn't here, no one is....so no witnesses." Isaac lifted his head, slowly reaching out his paw to her. "We could both try. Since we never tried it."
Sparkle hesitated, staring at his paw and at him. She didn't know what to really do, she could feel her face getting hot with embarrassment, she thought she looked like a Cheri Berry by now. She was back and forth about this, however thinking about it, she rather have her first kiss with Isaac. He was her best friend, better with someone you know and care about than someone who might, later in the future, leave or lose interest. At least with a best friend, you could stay friends forever.
Slowly she began to reach out, and she gripped his paw. She felt something tingle from the grip. She wanted it to stay there, it made her heart flutter. She glanced up at Isaac. "Alright, but I don't know what to do, do you?"
"Not really." Isaac admitted. "I was hoping instinct would take over." His was blushing red still, same as hers.
Sparkle laughed a little. "Don't expect me to lead this. You wanted to do this so you have to start it."
Isaac swallowed nervously. "Yeah....I figured....." He took a deep breath and shifted in position. Sparkle realized she better do the same.
Once they were in position, they just stared at each other. They were silent and frozen for several moments. It was like time was completely frozen. Soon Sparkle felt the breeze blowing slightly, and the sun was slowly setting behind the trees. She couldn't help but glancing over at it. She loved the sun set, it was always so beautiful and also sad. The day was over.
She felt gripping in her paws, she forgot about Isaac, and he had moved closer to her. She froze again, realizing what they were actually doing. (Why did I agree with this?!) She felt her heart racing again, feeling the tingling feeling from his paws holding hers. She felt so confused, it was like she was going to explode.
However, once Isaac's lips touched hers.
Everything stopped.
It felt the whole world was completely frozen once again. Her heart suddenly fluttered and her body just seemed to finally relaxed. It was a light kiss at first, however Sparkle instinctively gave in and kissed him back. He didn't pull away, instead pulled her closer.
Sparkle never felt anything so wonderful, the satisfaction, the wonder, the relief, the happiness. It was like everything was making sense to her. She never wanted to let go.
It seemed like hours went by when they finally pulled away. Sparkle never realized how handsome and cute Isaac was. His fur was pressing against her, she slowly realized she was on top of him. His smile could melt her away. She was smiling back at him. They stared at each other, their breathing was heavy. Never before did she kiss anyone like that before, let alone make out. Realizing she had just made out with him, made her suddenly realized what just happened.
(I just made out with my best friend!)
Sparkle seemed to pull away so fast, that Isaac took a moment to realized she was a few paces away from him. He sat up, slowly registering what happened. Sparkle's face was blushing red, she felt the Earth was spinning too fast, she nearly lost her footing. She had her paw over her mouth. (Oh my gosh, that wasn't supposed to happen. It was supposed to feel like nothing, right? Not like....THAT! Oh gosh! Oh gosh! It can't happen! Us can't happen! He'll leave anyway. He'll find that trainer of his. And we'll....never see...each other....again.) Sparkle suddenly felt tears ready to come, but she tried so hard not to cry.
It was dark by the time one of them finally spoke. Isaac was the first to speak. "Well....I guess that's it then, right?"
(That's it? THAT'S IT? That's all he could say?!) Sparkle felt annoyance build up inside of her, but she didn't get a chance to say something, Isaac continued talking. "That was....amazing, right? Please tell me I wasn't the only one who felt that."
Sparkle's annoyance faded away, she felt the embarrassment coming back. She rubbed the back of her head. "Yeah, you weren't...I felt something too, but...I don't want it to change anything..."
"Change anything?" Isaac seemed confused.
"Aren't we supposed to...ya know hook up after that?" Sparkle was feeling her heart wanting more of that kiss again.
"Not if you don't want too." Isaac sighed. "I mean, we only kissed because we were curious. It's not like if we did it again, it'll be the same....right?"
Sparkle wanted to do it again, her heart was aching for another, but she had to put her feelings aside. They were best friends and that's where it needed to stay. "Well I don't want to find out." Sparkle notice Isaac looked a bit hurt, but she continued, "I'm kinda tired to be honest, it's getting late and my mom will freak if we don't get back home soon. You know how she is."
Soon the hurt in Isaac's eyes faded and he stared at her for a moment. There was another long pause, she wondered what he was thinking. "Yeah, you're right." Isaac finally spoke, and slowly got up.

The moon was shining in a light glow, it wasn't too long before they could see home in the distance. Something was nagging at the back of Sparkle's mind. She knew she had to say something before they got back.
"Isaac, wait..." The Riolu stopped and looked at her with his bright eyes. Sparkle swallowed. She hated to admit that she was growing an attraction for him. She really hated to admit she had a crush on him. "About what happened. I don't want anything between us to change. I still want to be best friends, ya know. I don't want anything to come in between us. I can't lose you."
There was another long pause. It felt like Isaac was studying her or something. Sparkle didn't like the silence. It just made her more anxious about what he was thinking. (What was he thinking? What goes on in that cute head of his?) Still Sparkle wondered if things could work out between them. Being more than just friends, but yet they were still young and had a long life ahead of them. What the point starting something so early? They'd probably just lose interest in each other at some point and break off. And Sparkle didn't want to lose him. She'd never, ever wanted to lose him. He was very important to her. If they couldn't be together, she wanted to be best friends forever, if they could. She didn't want a relationship to ruin that.
"Yeah, I understand." His voice made Sparkle's heart fluttered. For a moment though, he looked disappointed, Sparkle wondered if she actually hurt him. But another moment he smiled. "I'll always be your friend no matter what. I don't want that either. Let's get back and get some sleep."
Sparkle felt sadness welling up inside her. It was over. She could of pushed forward with it but she didn't, she couldn't. They had to stay friends. As much as she wanted him, they couldn't be together. He would leave and find his trainer someday and she wouldn't want to join along. She didn't want a trainer and never want one. She sighed and tried to push the feelings away that were aching. "Yeah, good idea."
Both of them headed back home, ready to start another day.

However little did they know, that the next day, everything was going to change forever....

Let me speak before everyone starts asking if this is canon or commenting.

Yes this IS canon. This was just made because after thinking, it could fit and I wanted Sparkle and Isaac to actually kiss in Chapter 1, or the main reason, is because I wanted Isaac to be Sparkle's first kiss XD

I actually forgot about this scene , Isaac states "Darn, it wore off". Before I never caught on why he'd even said, it was merely just a joke that he actually wanted a kiss from her. (Though it would of been a fake kiss, not an actual kiss like in this scene here) However, I had this in my mind for quite awhile but never found a way where Isaac would ask Sparkle for a kiss, but once I saw that page, it was perfect! Beautiful! So this is how we got here X3
I actually like this part of the story, pity I never thought of it before.
Now note, this is a younger Sparkle and a younger Isaac, this isn't Chapter 2, this is Chapter 1, a day before Sparkle gets caught (Yeah I done it, made out a day before she got caught XD)

Also, I tried to get like a movie feel to this, is it good? I really did try to make it good.

Sparkle never felt anything so wonderful, the satisfaction, the wonder, the relief, the happiness. It was like everything was making sense to her. She never wanted to let go.
It seemed like hours went by when they finally pulled away. Sparkle never realized how handsome and cute Isaac was. His fur was pressing against her, she slowly realized she was on top of him. His smile could melt her away. She was smiling back at him. They stared at each other, their breathing was heavy. Never before did she kiss anyone like that before, let alone make out. Realizing she had just made out with him, made her suddenly realized what just happened.
(I just made out with my best friend!)
Sparkle seemed to pull away so fast, that Isaac took a moment to realized she was a few paces away from him. He sat up, slowly registering what happened. Sparkle's face was blushing red, she felt the Earth was spinning too fast, she nearly lost her footing. She had her paw over her mouth. (Oh my gosh, that wasn't supposed to happen. It was supposed to feel like nothing, right? Not like....THAT! Oh gosh! Oh gosh! It can't happen! Us can't happen! He'll leave anyway. He'll find that trainer of his. And we'll....never see...each other....again.) Sparkle suddenly felt tears ready to come, but she tried so hard not to cry.
It was dark by the time one of them finally spoke. Isaac was the first to speak. "Well....I guess that's it then, right?"
(That's it? THAT'S IT? That's all he could say?!) Sparkle felt annoyance build up inside of her, but she didn't get a chance to say something, Isaac continued talking. "That was....amazing, right? Please tell me I wasn't the only one who felt that."
Sparkle's annoyance faded away, she felt the embarrassment coming back. She rubbed the back of her head. "Yeah, you weren't...I felt something too, but...I don't want it to change anything..."
"Change anything?" Isaac seemed confused.
"Aren't we supposed to...ya know hook up after that?" Sparkle was feeling her heart wanting more of that kiss again.
"Not if you don't want too." Isaac sighed. "I mean, we only kissed because we were curious. It's not like if we did it again, it'll be the same....right?"
Sparkle wanted to do it again, her heart was aching for another, but she had to put her feelings aside. They were best friends and that's where it needed to stay. "Well I don't want to find out." Sparkle notice Isaac looked a bit hurt, but she continued, "I'm kinda tired to be honest, it's getting late and my mom will freak if we don't get back home soon. You know how she is."
Soon the hurt in Isaac's eyes faded and he stared at her for a moment. There was another long pause, she wondered what he was thinking. "Yeah, you're right." Isaac finally spoke, and slowly got up.

The moon was shining in a light glow, it wasn't too long before they could see home in the distance. Something was nagging at the back of Sparkle's mind. She knew she had to say something before they got back.
"Isaac, wait..." The Riolu stopped and looked at her with his bright eyes. Sparkle swallowed. She hated to admit that she was growing an attraction for him. She really hated to admit she had a crush on him. "About what happened. I don't want anything between us to change. I still want to be best friends, ya know. I don't want anything to come in between us. I can't lose you."
There was another long pause. It felt like Isaac was studying her or something. Sparkle didn't like the silence. It just made her more anxious about what he was thinking. (What was he thinking? What goes on in that cute head of his?) Still Sparkle wondered if things could work out between them. Being more than just friends, but yet they were still young and had a long life ahead of them. What the point starting something so early? They'd probably just lose interest in each other at some point and break off. And Sparkle didn't want to lose him. She'd never, ever wanted to lose him. He was very important to her. If they couldn't be together, she wanted to be best friends forever, if they could. She didn't want a relationship to ruin that.
"Yeah, I understand." His voice made Sparkle's heart fluttered. For a moment though, he looked disappointed, Sparkle wondered if she actually hurt him. But another moment he smiled. "I'll always be your friend no matter what. I don't want that either. Let's get back and get some sleep."
Sparkle felt sadness welling up inside her. It was over. She could of pushed forward with it but she didn't, she couldn't. They had to stay friends. As much as she wanted him, they couldn't be together. He would leave and find his trainer someday and she wouldn't want to join along. She didn't want a trainer and never want one. She sighed and tried to push the feelings away that were aching. "Yeah, good idea."
Both of them headed back home, ready to start another day.

However little did they know, that the next day, everything was going to change forever....

Can't believe I got this done within a freakin night. An hour to write and a few hours to sketch, color and post.

Let me speak before everyone starts asking if this is canon or commenting.

Yes this IS canon. This was just made because after thinking, it could fit and I wanted Sparkle and Isaac to actually kiss in Chapter 1, or the main reason, is because I wanted Isaac to be Sparkle's first kiss XD

I actually forgot about this scene , Isaac states "Darn, it wore off". Before I never caught on why he'd even said, it was merely just a joke that he actually wanted a kiss from her. (Though it would of been a fake kiss, not an actual kiss like in this scene here) However, I had this in my mind for quite awhile but never found a way where Isaac would ask Sparkle for a kiss, but once I saw that page, it was perfect! Beautiful! So this is how we got here X3
I actually like this part of the story, pity I never thought of it before.
Now note, this is a younger Sparkle and a younger Isaac, this isn't Chapter 2, this is Chapter 1, a day before Sparkle gets caught (Yeah I done it, made out a day before she got caught XD)

Also, I tried to get like a movie feel to this, is it good? I really did try to make it good.
