Description

Sparkle stared at the forest ahead of her. Her home. She hadn’t seen the forest for over a year. She traveled with Isaac across Kanto trying to find his trainer, but they didn’t have any luck finding the human. Sparkle and Isaac had gotten closer on the journey, but they hadn’t step to the next level of the relationship. Sparkle had no idea is the Riolu liked her back the same way she felt. Sparkle never asked either. She didn’t want to ruin the friendship nor have to make the choice to go with him if he had found his trainer. She didn’t want a trainer, so she kept her feelings aside and was happy that they were good friends.
However, it was the end of the search, considering they literally searched all over, but Isaac heard recently of Johto. Which was next door to Kanto. In fact it wasn’t far from Viridian Forest. At least a four day walk. And Isaac wanted to go and search there.
Sparkle, however, didn’t want to.
“How can you not want to keep helping me search?” Isaac asked.
“Never said I wasn’t going to stop helping.” Sparkle mumbled. “I’m just saying why keep going when it’s useless.”
“It’s not useless to stop looking. He’s out there, and if he finished Kanto, he would go to Johto since it’s right next door. It was the same with Sinnoh.” Isaac argued.
“He could have easily gone to Hoenn or Kalos, or another region.” Sparkle pointed out. “In fact, he could have gone to Aloha. It’s more closer to Kanto than Johto will ever be. And though it’s nearby, it’s still a day or two boat ride away.”
“So you want to give up then?”
“Yeah, pretty much. Let’s face it, Isaac. As much as I feel bad that you lost your trainer, we’ll never find him. And if he wanted to find you, he would have searched for you as well.”
“You don’t know that he isn’t looking for me!” Isaac snapped at her. “He probably still is! How can you say that!? I am not giving up on him! I’m going to keep looking, even if I have to search the whole world for him.”
Sparkle shook her head. “Why give up your life searching when you should just move on.”
“Well I can’t, nothing is more important than finding my trainer. He’s my friend!”
Sparkle perked up, she started to hurt inside. “And what am I? Chopped liver? Am I not your friend too? I thought we were more than that! How can you choose your trainer over me?! I’m not the one lost or gone! I am right here!”
“I don’t love you!” Isaac shouted in anger.
Sparkle flinched, she felt her heart stop. She felt it breaking. Isaac shook his head, suddenly realizing what he said.
“I didn’t- I meant we’re only friends and nothing more. I don’t like you in that way. I did-“
“Stop.” Sparkle interrupted him, he looked up at her, she turned away from him. She didn’t want him to see her tears. “I get it. Fine. Do what you want, Isaac. I won’t stand in your way no more.” She took a step, but stopped and looked at him. “And I didn’t mean it that way. I only meant we were best friends. Not just friends.”
She headed away, towards home. Isaac called out to her, but she darted away.

Hey, I finally got a part done XD

It's like PMD, I am so ahead in writing and drawings, but SUPER behind on coloring.

Main reason is that I dont want to accidently catch up with sketches then be stuck until I finally work on it.

Sorry, PMD fans I'll keep trying

Anyway, the AU, or Alternative Universe of Sparkle's Adventure.

This is going to be parts like PMD story. Written and drawing.

I dont have the time and energy to work on a full fledged comic.

Besides I can get more detail with writing and I kinda want to practice my writing again.

What's sad, is that these have been done a long time and I just now finally colored them

So what's different in this story?

Basically this story is what if Sparkle didnt get caught by her trainer. What would have happened next?

Well, not much.

But Sparkle would eventually helped Isaac go searching. Because of what happened in the canon story, Isaac was guilty not saving Sparkle from her trainer, and he left afterwards. I think I might have said a few months, but possibly less than that, but I am not sure. Just time for Sparkle to get some distance away then he leaves to go searching for his trainer

This one, Sparkle wants to leave caz she wants to go explore, main reason, but she also wants to help.

A whole year has gone by since they left, and they had no luck.

Isaac wants to continue, Sparkle doesn't

And well this is where the story begins
