So Nimue looks like Amy, doesn't mean she has the same personality, if the fact that Nimue never went nuts over Sonic is an indication.
Wait... I actually like how the background looks! Is that even possible? Did I not mess up for once?!
I've been really busy, and I still am, but I decided to use every little spare time I had to draw this. And now that it's done, I'll do my homework, study and start doing the collab/art trade/requests I have to do... sigh...

Well to be fair Amy actually have a live beside sonic so I highly doubt that Amy would immediately go into sonic fan girl mode (especially because Amy was often depicted to actually let her search for sonic fall like a hot potato as soon as she finds something of more immediate interest (like Saving Elise from eggman's base or saving Gamma or returning the lost flicky to his parents)Β

Almost forgot to mention that Nimue also has the advantage of being why older and in consideration how much more powerful her mystical ability's seem to be in comparison to regular Amy I can she Nimue as a simply over time more matured Amy which biggest differentes to her main universe counterpart is that she just doesn't have a crush on sonic (and should she have one is she way more in control over it)Β

Yes, in Black Knight Nimue looks like Amy, but she's however, well, still Nimue, not Amy, their personalities are also very different.

If anything. . .Nimue resembles Maria Robotnik more (with the attire, role as a mother figure to Shadow, and a calm and sweet personality).

Uh, I wouldn't go as far as to say that Nimue is like Maria. I don't think the guys at Sonic Team had Maria in mind at any point. Personality-wise, alright, Nimue kind of resembles her.
The whole mother figure to Shadow deal, well, if Black Knight had more in common with the actual legends, I would believe it. But it differs way too much. We almost never see Nimue interact with Lancelot, so we can't know if the fact that Nimue is Lacelot's adoptive mother in the true legends is also true in the Sonic version.
And about the blue dress, I think that's just stretching things too much. She's the lady of the lake, no surprise her dress is blue.

Yeah, those are some good points. I just found it weird how that alternate Amy (Nimue) was the only character different from Sonic's pals. It's like SEGA was trying to make it comedic to show how different she was from that hot-headed Pinky. I don't know what the purpose of it all. I personally would have liked Nimue being Tikal instead. I guess Amy's popularity got that role instead. . .out of everyone.

I never got a chance to play Sonic & The Black Knight, but I'd like to find out what Nimue's personality is like some time. I've been told that she's a more mature version of Amy, which would be expected of a royal princess (or whatever she is).

Actually, we don't get to see a lot of her, but for the short time Nimue appears, yes, she's shown to be way more mature and calmer than Amy.
