I really hope my background works for this one. Newcomer Lucas chills out with veteran Ness, but he still can't shake that feeling of impending doom.I gotta say, after watching Lucas' role in Subspace Emissary, you feel bad for the kid. I won't spoil anything about it, but be prepared to whisper the words, "Stay strong, Lucas...!"

He's called Porky because he's a fat kid with a pig nose. :3
He's in a spider robot because of the current condition of his body. His years of time travel abuse has deteriorated his body faster than if it aged normally.

Nice pic! It really captures the feeling of the Mother games and the contrast between Ness and Lucas. And Porky looks menacing and stupid at the same time, just like he's supposed to.

;u; I hear you there. Lucas is such a trooper, though I still love how he was depicted in the SSE (y'know, as opposed to the end of Mother 3).
Anyhow I love this and I love how you draw them, especially Pokey. --Excuse me, Porky, it's a habit <;D And yes! The background really works, in my opinion. Dreary, just like in the SSE (and a tad more yellow, but I love yellow so pssh).

Thanks for the support on the background. I'm really not all that faithful in my background-drawing abilities, so it's good to hear some good words about it. I made it a little more yellowish because darker yellow always reminds me of twisted minds--enter, Porky. Whose statue I totally misrepresented.
