The title is based on my favorite line from Lulu (FFX):
"Chappu... You always said I looked grumpy, but those were the happiest days of my life."
It's Honey the Cat! Cosplaying as Lulu from Final Fantasy X! Honey is perhaps one of the most overlooked characters ever. She's never actually been in a Sonic game: she was planned to be in several of them, however. Sonic Riders, Sonic the Fighters... And a few others, I forget what they are now. It's still surprising to see how many fans she has, even though she's a game character that's never even been featured in a game.
Yeah, I know: I screwed up big-time on the hairpins and belts... But the fact is that Lulu's costume is very difficult to draw. Every time I went back to playing FFX, there was ANOTHER nuance to her costume that I missed before. I went through three different versions before I finally decided on using this one. Even though its belt placement is far from correct, I hope it still gets lots of +faves!
The doll she's holding is a doll of Chu, from Chu Chu Rocket! for Dreamcast. I thought "Since Lulu hods a Moogle doll, why not have Honey hold a doll from a Sega game?" I was going to go for the Light Chao, but that just didn't work. Chu works just fine.
