Here is my drawing for Contest. (prize is a pony plush of an OC)
Its my biggest my little pony work till now! Took me 3 days hard work, and finished exatly one day before the entries are closed.
Time used draw it : 15 hours
Program used : PainTool Sai
Unicorn Character : Stellar Crystal (c)
I used almost all my different styles on this drawing xD Every panel different.
Im happy at least i got to finish it in time.

Oh dear.. please let me tell you, that I just LOVED and still love your drawing and you got the full 5/5 points for that. But the drawing counted only 50%, the other 50% was how much I liked your OC/wanna sew it.. and so your OC was the reason why someone else won :/
I`m truly sorry but I told you and everyone else the rules before. So that drawing was the 1rst place worth it..but the reason you did not win (and you almost had) was your OC, okay? There was no fake or something like that.

I can understand how it must feel to put so much work in a drawing like that for a contest and not win.. but please remember the rules of that contest..okay? I don`t think that`s nice to link the winners picture without that because nobody - even not me - could ever understand why such a simple picture should win and not yours, but it was up from your OC - that`s the more important information!

You didnt need to say anything, this is not only, already and old subject, but i also said i had no problem. Everyone who asked me, even those who didnt see the winner of the contest, i told them that i was sure i didnt cause of my OC.
The only thing was, that if the drawing had the 5 stars, meant that my oc had 0.. and that did hurt me more than the effort put on my drawing (that actually showed up as main comic of the day in Equestria daily, even without sending it to them.)
I understand you dont like my pony, if you are the kind of brony who enjoys too difficult and colorful Ocs. I prefer them simple to draw, and with more personality, instead of lots of accesories...
I did read the way the winner was chosen. I just couldnt know how many starts i actually got on drawing and OC, what made it difficult for others to understand why i didnt win, though i knew it was the oc.
(people like my OC, so they still dont understand it. But as said, this is old.)
What i learned is, not to give too much effort, time and hopes on a contest entry. Cause it ends up being worthles >.<
I linked the winners picture, for those you are interested to see how the contest ended. Like in many other closed contests, people link on their entries, the contest, and results.
And as said, this is already a bit old to start arguing about it again.
BTW, i didnt change my oc, not an inch, after loosing cause of her lame design. I even started a comic with her, and a lot of proyects people are waiting for. Im not going down just cause the contest results.
So, as nothing happened, i guess. I grew even stronger with her.

Hey hey, I just wanted to say great job, amazing job on this, I know that all of us open that journal hoping our name will pop up, and honestly, before I started scrolling, I hope for both me and you, I don't know why.

I know how it feels losing to a doodle or work that wasn't put too much work in it, here was my first plush contest I lost completely, and here's my entry

I wasn't expecting first place, but at least a fifth, maybe fourth for an entry that took me days to do, I kept finding ways to make it better and creative, dressed as the legendary from the new Pokemon was a great idea, plus I added more ponies into it to show I can do more than just two.
I lost to a doodle, then she said mine wasn't very original and just was plain rude to me, calling me a baby and saying I'll never win one of her future contests ever, It hurt me knowing I made such a hard drawing for her, not even featuring it in her page to do the least or an honorable mention. So it hurts to know some people don't have very good judging skills.

Yeah, something tells me they faked it, I checked the comments in her journal and the winner didn't sound excited at all, just left a short comment thanking her. When I won this small figure of my OC, I was at work with nothing but military soldiers, I choked on my apple and got on my knees repeating "OMG really?", I was extremely happy that day and didn't stop smiling, I thanked the artist many times and said a meaningful long comment a few times.

Man, it still hurts me to see that you lost to...that muro, over your piece. I told my friends on Skype about this contest, they did their usual friend thing, "what, you deserve to win, you lost to that?". Then I showed them your work and told them no I don't, this guy does for putting in all the little details.
And yeah I can see it as a fake, it's like let's say for an example, I promise a friend an amazing drawing, then get the idea to say its a contest so I can get many drawings of my OC, then in the end act like I care, give the prize to that friend I promised, and congrats the non winners...that's it.
I don't do that stuff, I get fanart fairly, if one person loves my OC so much, I'll leave it to them if they wanna draw him, I don't force them, I don't tell them (except commish or requests, I ask on those), and I don't do contests unless I give everyone a little something back like a spot on a pony collab.
Can I see your OCs? I'm a little lost where they are, just to see if it's as good as the winner's OC.

First of all thank you for your words ^^ Its really kind. I already feel a bit better about that all happened with the contest... All i know, is that im not trying anymore on this girls contests... I cant trust it anymore.
And thats a horrible thing to do, but i guess a lot people do that. I still have to finish the first prize of the only contest i ever made, and its taking a year already for me to get that big drawing finished (and i feel really bad cause of it! but its big and i never get time and strenghts to continue it.)
I love fanart of my characters, everybody does, of course. I dont use to ask for request, and commissions i guess ill spare them for plushes only, not that i get much money after all.
And about my OCs :
Only 1 of em is shown in my arts... but the other 2 i have are secret, cant just post them to the public. (but i did show them to this plush maker U_U For the plushes.)
I cant, cause they are for a comic, and wouldnt like to spoil the story or characters that will appear in it.
But i already know my characters are boring and simple in design, cause too difficult ones would give me trouble in a comic.

I also want to become animator.. i was raised up by cartoons xD Watching tv since i was 1 year old and less... mom let me always infront the TV. And so i learned a lot of what i know today from the old cartoons. And still save a place for those old cartoonsm that are anymore on TV, in my little heart

Ah yes, the old ones, I remember I was the biggest Scooby Doo fan, I didn't know it back then when I made my OC, but his colors look very similar to Scooby, along with the baby blue and yellow mix of the CM. I never thought that a cartoon I loved so very much would take part of my OC. X3
