I wanted to try a more finished, cleaner kind of animation... but dang, this took forever!There's a lot of mistakes but I'm really tired of looking at this, haha.

I can't wait for this game to be out in the U.S. It's the first Pokemon game I've honestly been looking forward to in a while.

I kind of like the new starters but I was a bit botherred at first but then I rememberred Pearl/Diamond pokemon weren't that great when they first started debuting.... :3 but I liked their evolutions later

This is a pretty well-made animation, considering that you used three different Pokemons (instead of using the same one to make drawing easier) and made them doing different movements.
The animation is pretty smooth too.
I don't really care how their latest designs are not as original or creative as the earlier ones like most people have mentioned. We (including the ones who complained) are going to end up playing them anyway.

i'm curious though, what qualifies as "original" or "creative"? Compare lizard with a flame on its tail compared to a legged snake with a leaf on it's tail.. or a turtle with a curly tail to a otter with a shell on its belly, what's the difference?

I can't really say which is 'original' or 'creative' when it comes to Pokemon (and Digimon). To me, I only see their designs as either cute or complicated. Considering that the developers already created over 500 Pokemons, I thought it was pretty impressive that they could still make new ones.

FFFF---- I think the more and more pokemon they make, the less nice the designs are O m O;;
For example, the new water type starter looks a little bit like piplup and the grass type looks
like a treecko... It's just an opinion though, peace~!
