Maggots are a mutant species of Imp native to one of the worst places in Hell, the Sloughlands, a toxic, radioactive wasteland with rivers of glowing green, acidic, sludge. Maggots are scavenging predators that feast on mainly rotting corpses, though they will hunt when given the chance, in which these two-headed mutants will be glad to be given the chance to rip some poor hitchhiker into pieces.

Maggots use their large, dirty claws to slash and gore into their prey, and just like their pure cousins they can attack from a medium to short range, however instead of throwing heated crystals from their shoulders, they hock globules of toxic sludge. These globs are made up of the unstable, still digesting matter from the pit of their stomachs, as well as the same green sludge found in the rivers of the Sloughlands, this confirms that this sludge acts as the source of hydration for the horrid mutant fauna and flora of these wastes.

These demons sometimes appear during invasions, even though they're NOT supposed to be there, this unintended entering is the result of unstable Hell Portals being opened while in the presence of a larger, more powerful Hellgate, these accidental portals appear more in the Sloughlands due to a couple Hierarchy Military Bases being nearby.
