i think you have a good drawing style however i think you invest too much time into "manga studio" or Photoshop.. what ever the program you using to ink and tone....

Why do you say that? I always thought clean looking lines were important, so investing time to make them look nice was a good thing?

Investing time into clean lines is key when you ink you manga on paper.... and one you ink on paper you would then go to photoshop and crop the lines so they're completely crisp and clean and most importantly you manga will still look natural like a Japanese manga. Completely inking with the computer makes manga look artificial... toning is ok however its important not to over-tone.. if you actually used real screen tones on paper you would understand.

I sort of see what you're getting at (that the lines look more "natural" and have a certain charm, when inked on paper) however I can't see myself buying all the paper and materials needed to make my comics the "traditional way" in the near future.. I try very hard not to over tone and try to think/behave as if I were using screen tones, but since I don't have experience doing it that way I don't really have the hang of it yet.
In any case I still have a lot to learn and hope I will improve as I go on making comics. If you have any tips (other than doing it traditionally) I'd love to hear them and I really appreciate the feedback, it's the sort of comment that is very rare to get.
