Sketched this a while ago when I first saw the movie but didn't finish it till now.. so I'm a bit late to the httyd-fanart party XDgeneric thing to do with your pet dragon.. use him as an umbrella!

Forget the httyd part of it, this is just a gorgeous drawing! I adore their expressions, they look so content and happy. It makes me smile to look at this. And they way that you drew this I could swear you used models sitting right there. (Yes, even for the dragon.)
Now I've seen the movie a couple times and so I love it for the content of it as well. But really, what caught my eye was the loveliness of the art, not the charterers.
