I figured I should've uploaded this sooner?Anyways.
As for the picture. Mari, and Nolan are suposed to be brothers. There's a story of them (sort of) on my tumblr. Where Mari explains his side of the story. They're stepbrothers. Both their actual parents got divorced and Mari's mom got re-married with Nolan's rich dad.
Nolan is the star, and perfect son. While Mari is the outcast, a minority? Sort of? Nolan followed his dad's footsteps and became a psychologist with his own practice... Mari, isn't doing, anything.
He recently moved in with Nolan after what has been years.
The thing is, Nolan's dad, as well as Mari's mom (as she goes with everything the dad says) are extremely homophobic. And they both were actually together for quite some time. Without their parents knowing. And they still dont know. (dont go crossfaced with me, they're not blood related, so there)
They were together for a fair 3 years, at most. When they were a lot smaller. Nolan moved out eventually to chase his dad's dreams and become a loved and just as succesfull psychologist. And Mari was completely forgotten, in a way, that's where they both parted ways. And now, they're together again.
But this time just as 'family' or 'friends' but in the end, roommates.
Nolan is still as busy as ever, and Mari.. Well Mari is actually unsure about his life right now... His story makes me sad, but I love him dearly nonetheless.

Hmm well I could send you an example??? Perhaps? Im not gonna put certain stuff like... online because its rather graphic and sometimes very explicit to be honest. but yeah thats basically the main idea.
And its not like they own your character!! no no, YOU, and you alone play your character. YOU decide what he/she does. And not the other person that plays his own character.. dun worry haha dun get confused. its basically just a simple setting. for example, Mari is watching tv with his boyfriend. I play Mari, I decide what he does and how he converses. And the one that plays his boyfriend, the other owner. is in charge of her own character, and what he does. He never really has anything to say about Mari, only that what they perhaps talk about. That or perhaps her character picking up mine and carry him somewhere. for example. that can happen but only if both players agree to this.

But thats how we do it. For example Mari has his own Facebook, and he chats with his sort of, lover on there. And in private chat they 'hang out' with each other, we use it for rping purposes. I can send you an example if you like???

Graphic? Your "graphic" stuff got me into trouble yesterday when my brother visited me unexpected. x'D I was like: "Hey, I saw something funny on Tumblr recently... I'll show you... log in... Oh, if it's too graphic or personal, you don't have to show me. I think I can imagine a bit how you rp when you say you write each other facebook messages and chat. ^^ But if it's okay for you (and the other players), you can send me a short example in a personal note. ^_^
I just thought... when your character has a relationship with someone else's character - for example - and that someone else's character cheats on your character or leaves him, your character would be sad. ;_____; That way other people could make your character sad, even if you own him all the time.

oh god I know!!! I'm not sure but you follow Mari on tumblr right? Well my dad often checks my Ipad.. So sometimes he bumps into an open window on there thats on Mari's tumblr... haha woops.

Well..... Sad enough.. This happened before. Someone Mari was extremely in love with, well the man betrayed him really hard. So that was really sad indeed, and he's still recovering from that. thus why he cuts and all that. It left him pretty traumatized.

I try to hide them on photos. It's none of other people's business. Though I found one photo in my gallery on which the scars can be seen. Didn't pay enough attention. >__>

Awwwww..... Well yeah now he has his new body. Yes, I did. I hide them unconsciencely.. Weird actually huh? I mean its just a doll, but somehow his scars. embaress ME... its weird, I try not to hide them anymore. its what he is, and what he's been thru, and still going through afterall. a friend told him that. He actually befriended the guy 'that other guy' left him for and hurt him so much. but they get along really well now.... sad, but beautifull in a way. cuz they understand each other.
Aww well dont be so afraid of showing his (he or she?) scars.. I try not to anymore either. to be hones.t I might even upload a pic some time soon with his scars.... just to throw it out there. I have a pretty sad picture of Mari.. I can show you.. [link] these are photoshopped on. But, he does have them now on his actual new body. cuz on tht pic hes on his old body and i didnt want to paint them on cuz he;d switch bodies any time soon anyway.
This is rather bloody and such, so i wont ever upload it. but if your boy/girl has tiny scars or not too bad, or even if he/she does... just show it or carefully and slowly ease it in.

No, it's not weird, hiding becomes a reflex some day. And I don't think it's "just" a doll, when they have a story and so much personality. Damn society, makes people think this is something one should be ashamed of. Something "crazy". Your photo made me cry. ;__; It's so incredibly beautiful and touching. The whole situation is. You made a wonderful emotional photo. Thanks for sharing, it means a lot to me.
With my doll it's a very personal thing, I don't want to display him, don't want to get labeled myself and I heard of certain dA rules. The scars are several years old now, they are completely white. Yeah he has someone like that. Though they hardly talk about it together, which makes Mari rather confused. Even when they're clearly out there. And someone else does, help him in ways, but he's not around enough.

Damnit! >_< I "found" your Tumblr today - can't remember how and why anymore, wasn't on purpose o_O - however, so many beautiful photos of Mari and then I read this letter from Mari to Nolan and was crying again. It was so sad and genuine, so touching. Last time I suffered so damn much with another person's character was when I read the third part of Adrian Mayfield. Gosh, something inside of me must have died on that day. >____>

They're often mistaken for cheap dolls. They're not, in fact in hundreds of dollars of Resin dolls. These in fact are above 60cm too.

I would find it really hard to find them cheap. They look very expensive and definitively out of my grasp, but cheap or not, they look very breath taking, and very delicate too. Like those china-faced dolls.

Er how the story ends?... Well sadly, its pretty but not so pretty. Its what the present looks like. Mari got together with someone, who end up hurting him and violating his trust badly.. He started to self harm and went down a very depressing spiral... Nolan could sit and watch, though ofcourse he tried to help since it's his job. And Mari is prety much his family, there's only so little he can do.
He then ended up with his best friend, er I mean Mari... but the guy who hurted him so much, has eventually decided he made a mistake and wants Mari back badly. Mari knows the most stupid thing to do is to go back to the other asshole, but ofc.. as its a human trait, its hard and he cant make up his mind. And thats pretty much the present, he's still very self destructive and a constant downer : / .... Sorry, that prolly made the story worse..

Sounds like Nolan should chase him more! If Nolan cared about him more, then Mari wouldn't have a hard time making that choice >( Why doesn't Nolan like him too much? Because he's not successful? I guess that's valid if he's not even trying though.

Huh? No no... you're getting it wrong. Nolan and Mari do really love each other. But not like... 'lovers' anymore. Nolan does the best he can to try and help. But, he cant be there 24/7... And it's Mari's choice who he'll choose from the two men he likes. Nolan's not included.. It's about two outsiders, both are not my own dolls.
