Description A study done in sanguine crayons and pastel 19x18. The model sat for 30 minutes. I refined the head, neck and blocked in the hair as much as I could I could. Since school policy did not allow any snapshot pictures of the model. I endeavored to carry out the rest of the piece by using reference photographs for the body and hair. (Thanks for viewing!)

Thanks for the comment, rendering in pastel wasn't my forte but was a new experience and fun.

You're welcome. I agree, hair doesn't need to follow such strict rules so you can have a lot of fun with it! Thanks again, mate.

Just terrific study.

The body isn't lost in the polo.

That's vital. A muscle build is still present.

Thanks, I was learning how to make a likeness. We had other models but this went better than my other ones.
