Description
A study done in sanguine crayons and pastel 19x18. The model sat for 30 minutes. I refined the head, neck and blocked in the hair as much as I could I could. Since school policy did not allow any snapshot pictures of the model. I endeavored to carry out the rest of the piece by using reference photographs for the body and hair. Thanks for the comment, rendering in pastel wasn't my forte but was a new experience and fun.

You're welcome. I agree, hair doesn't need to follow such strict rules so you can have a lot of fun with it! Thanks again, mate.

Just terrific study.
The body isn't lost in the polo.
That's vital. A muscle build is still present.

Thanks, I was learning how to make a likeness. We had other models but this went better than my other ones.
