Acts like one too. Β The ground squirrels do the standing up straight thing and when I first saw them I thought they were prairie dogs.

lol they both have the creepy little fingers... I got to hang out with some prairie dogs last month. A couple of them were posing.

I am so amused by the curiosity of wild animals. Β Last week I had an otter hoist himself up on his front paws to get a better look at me. Β I suppose he thought my telephoto lens was some kind of strange beak.

I had edged up to a hole on my belly that had two residents. they came out, stood and stared.Β I pictured them thinking, "ewww can you believe he's laying in that?" at some point I remembered how their fleas can carry the plague and itched for the rest of the day

Regretfully, I'm too fastidious to crawl on my belly for a shot. Β But I'll bet you got a good perspective on those little fellows... and hopefully nothing else. Β
