I'm trying to learn how to paint butterflies and so this was some practice in painting mostly complete butterfly wings. I used a reference of someone's fantasy painting for the color and to check my general shape as I went, but I haven't been able to find it to share it here ((edit: found it )). The symbol for Epidermolysis Bullosa is the butterfly, because the skin is fragile (kind of like butterfly wings), so this is something I'd really like to get better at drawing.

This process also served as more experiments with brushes and stuff, something that will hopefully end (someday) with my having a comfort around what kinds of brushes work for me.
