First confrontation of Radiant Jen Zi and Gao. Because he's such a bitch. And a sore loser. And everyone hates him xD
Tried out a cartoon-like style this time, so I left the lineart on ^^ Took me around 10 hours using Photoshop CS2 and a Genius Tablet. use an in-game shot as a reference for the clothes and background.
Now, I know it looks stretchy on some low resolutions (I checked that myself and it does), but I swear for every single deity there is that it looks *fine* on mine. I work on a large one, so that might be what's influencing the image :S I'll change the size when Photoshop stops to be a bitch and OPENS the damn image.

Ha ha, every seems to be hating on Gao, but I actually like him. I mean he's not the greatest person, but he was...interesting and passionate- if you could call it that.
Even though he had the hots for Dawn Star, I still enjoy pairing him with Jen Zi. XD If he wasn't such a huge jealous douche, it could have worked....maybe.
Great pic, though the background looks a bit flat. I love the way you did Jen Zi's hair.

Haha that game is SO addictive! I play it all day. I've completed it with about five different characters by now, my favourites are Furious Ming (man that tattoo is awesome!) and Radiant Jen Zi.
I kinda liked Gao the Lesser, shame he's such an arrogant ass. He's voiced by Capatain Hammer from Dr Horrible's SingALong Blog. Also the guy from Serenity. I just love him

Yes, I know about the stretch thing... but I've moved to another computer and am unable to re-do the image until I get an external Hard Disk Drive so I can move all the .PSD files

Stretched... nice, but definitely stretched... does make me wonder what in the hell your screen resolution is (or, perhaps, if you have an absurdly tall monitor), but other than that, I like it.
Interesting perspective skew, too.

I was just gonna point out that it looks stretched... or squished, rather. It could be because of your widescreen/weird screen resolution. Try switching to 1024x768 and seeing how it looks :/ I know that some people who had wide resolution sent me some game screenshots and everything looked just weird. Eh.
