I want some Mac soap bars! Then I can not only shower and be clean, but hip and clean.

Very good job on all of them.

why did they do the ubuntu logo over the linux mascot, the penguin, tux

I chose ubuntu because that's the flavor of linux that we use in our home and have used for years. Since the shapes are somewhat simple and I cut them out myself (and are more silhouettes than objects) - there was no way to make a good plain penguin silhouette shape that was as easily recognizable as the ubuntu logo.

I am working on some more 3D soaps and designs and perhaps I will get around to making tux in the future.

The Apple one creeps me out, mainly because Apple is a cult.

Lol, I'm sure that if Windows were used less, its users would be considered a cult. But yes, I agree, Mac users are scary. D:

Hmm, yeah, probably. But then again ALL Operating Systems have their crazy users. There's probably more Winfags than Macfags, but damn Macfags sure are loud.

Lol, yes. To make up for their smaller user base. After all, even though Windows has some pretty serious problems they need to fix, it has the most users. So Windows users don't really have to defend themselves socially since they're the norm.

I guess Mac users and some Linux users just tend to feel a bit insecure, despite how good their OS is, and wanna' pick fights about it. Just use what works for you.

I really hope they concentrate on fixing some long standing bugs in Windows since they finally fixed Vista up a little with 7. Just concentrate on bug fixing, speed improvements, and then people won't bring up all the usual suspects when they compare OSes, and they can compare on their merits, not their problems.

GNU/Linux can be a bit different. The GNU/Linux community usually knows how GNU/Linux works, and therefor spends a lot of time either configuring something or helping people out online. OS X users however, have nothing to do but complain and look at shoops of Macs, since they know nothing about the OS. God, I've seen so many of them think OS X was Linux because they don't understand the difference between GNU and UNIX. I've even seen one that though OS X was made out of Debian. Fucking dumbasses. It should be illegal for them to to even own a computer.

Hah. Wait, OS X users thinking it's a Debian spinoff, or Linux users?

OS X is based on a mixed kernel, made up from NetBSD and FreeBSD back in 2000, and it's called Darwin. Safari uses Webkit, which was modified from KHTML and released it back to the community. OS X also uses cups for the drivers. But it's certainly not a SPINOFF of Debian with a nice GUI- a lot more work is there than people think.

Sure, Macs have a different kernel, so they generally support less hardware, but it's not like they just made OS X in a day.

Yeah, Linux users like to play with their GUI and use different applications since there are options easily accessed (you can right click anything and you'll see it has extra properties you could change). Of course, most recent Linux users don't really use the command line or hack configuration files, but that's a good thing. Pretty much every OS is good for stupid people now, so I see a lot of noobs come to Ubuntu and say the most outrageous things.

Ubuntu works great for me, OS X works great for you, Windows works poorly, but well enough for gamers. You know, mix and match, see for yourself, and get your history right if you want to talk about history (directing this to those weirdos you mentioned).

Haha, I think every OS should come with something that visually guides people and explain more about computers to them, that they have to pass before using it, or something. You know, just the basics of how a modern GUI works, how to right-click, click and drag, stuff like that.

Help sections in Windows, OS X, and Ubuntu document those things very well, but most people don't click on the question mark. XD They just yell at the computer for some reason.

It was OS X users, lol. They have absolutely no idea what OS X even is. No, that one guy thought it was literally made out of Debian like Ubuntu was. I even heard from this one guy on /g/ that a macfag saw Ubuntu and thought it was OS X. They know less than my parents.

I always thought there should be some sort of Cyberbuddy-like companion that told you what's what about the OS it's on. I don't see how that could go wrong.

Clippy is how it could go wrong. XD I think there should just be a website with interactive guides to OS X/Windows/Gnome/KDE, since that's what most people would end up using. And it should be free, obviously. Maybe I should program it and get it online somewhere.

Perhaps someone already has. I wouldn't charge for it, though. There are plenty of those sorts of guides out there.

I actually might as well just do some YouTube videos.
