Description
.BIG FILE PLZ.GOOD GRIEF HE'S NAKED.
I know, no "Hai welcome to my tut" or "Bai, thanks for reading my tut" on the file itself... but hey. I ran outta room....
So, this is for Pensive (~lolcarny ) who asked for a cartoon/anthro/comic anatomy tutorial... thing. So I made one as best I could 'cause I wuff her ^w^
I know the legs suck... shut up. I noticed that when I finished drawing them all, and I didn't wanna hafta redo it... again ._.;;
If it isn't what you're looking for, Pen, I can recommend some books for you to check out, or I can try again... most likely the second one because this is fun ^_^
If you use this, please send me the link to what you drew! I'd love to see it ^^
EDIT: I wasn't thinking straight when I typed this, so "the things that aren't joints" are forearms and such.
... Yeah.

Enjoy.

Best.

Awww n.n Cute! This is a really good tutorial! I really need to do those LoM things and such because right now all I usually do is the circle for the head. I think it'd be a lot more helpful if I sort've mapped things out like you did in your sketch

ilu. :3 I knew everything from the first step, but I always screw up body-shape for some reason, and head shape. Thanks so much for making this, hun! <3 you should totally make more tutorials for these types of things; you're really good at that.

^w^ I luff you too!
The shapes really depend on the character (For example, if your character has more of a quadrilateral head, use a square, and if (s)he's more on the chunky side, make the bean bigger, or just use an oval or circle), but the shapes I used are pretty much the basic shapes a lot of people use.
You're quite welcome! Always happy to help. I wanna make a hands and eyes tutorial next (Cartoon, of course... I can't draw realistic hands or eyes for crap!) ^_^
Best.
