Before I get into the review, I want to apologize for a long absence. I am grieving over the recent loss of my grandfather and trying to heal from it. The tenth chapter of "Animaniacs: Shape of the Heart" will be written, sometime in October. I haven't been able to plan it, yet.

I've been wanting to do a remake review of this show, for a while and that time has finally come. It wasn't fun to critique, before and it still isn't, now. My opinion hasn't changed because "Robot Chicken," in my eyes, is the worst adult animated show to be spawned into existence. I watched at least four episodes of the first season, before I threw my hands in the air and said, "I quit." This cartoon is. THAT. BAD. I didn't laugh once at any of the jokes and most of them don't make a lick of sense. Some jokes pop up for a brief second, before ending abruptly, for no reason. The whole time I watched it on my computer, I thought to myself, "They're expecting me to laugh at this? This isn't funny."

Let's talk about the stop-motion animation; It is beyond ugly and nonexistent. Not only do the dolls and/or toys move like snails in the motion capture, but the animated lip-sync on them barely match with what the characters are saying. This is evident in the "Fast & Furious" parody.

Now, onto the jokes; They are incredibly unfunny, in every sense of the word. Imagine, if you will, that I'm supposed to give a speech in the city of San Francisco, but I spend forty-five minutes giggling about how I find Lovejoy chasing Jack and Rose in "Titanic" hilarious or how much I adore writing stories. I'm talking about nonsense, instead of the actual speech, rather than trying to entertain an audience. That is what "Robot Chicken" is!

These jokes barely have any effort put in them and are infantile. Being a fan of cartoons and movies, you'd think I'd find it humorous when this show makes fun of them. I LOATHE it. Like I stated in the original rant, they portray them in a horrendously graphic and negative light. I already touched upon the "Scooby-Doo," "Rugrats," "SpongeBob" and "Blue's Clues" parodies, but I found more spitting in the face of my childhood with these disgraces for comedy.

We have a second of a Teletubby smoking. Nice, show. Real freaking nice. That's not funny, it's just random for the sake of being random. Oh, we're not done. For you "Transformers" fans, excluding myself, there's a sketch where Optimus Prime gets a certain cancer, which I'd rather not say and he dies on-screen. Wow, gruesome, huh? NO. The one that pissed me off the most, excuse my language, was a parody of none other than "Courage the Cowardly Dog." I saw it on YouTube and couldn't believe, for the life of me, what I watched. I think it's from the recent season, but I don't give a rat's hat!

The parody starts with Muriel and Eustace in the living room with Courage. Apparently, they have him on Prozac. Just wait, it gets worse; All of a sudden, a bear breaks into the room and kills Muriel by decapitating and disemboweling her, while she screams for Courage to help. What does he do? He just lies there and doesn't have a reaction! The bear then proceeds to decapitate Eustace, we get a shot of Courage smiling dreamily and the parody ends.

Are... are you kidding me? Are you seriously kidding me? This idiotic show expects me to laugh at characters I have loved since I was a child, when they're being decapitated and disemboweled...

Let me make this perfectly clear; Courage would never, EVER let his owners be killed in such a terrible and despicable fashion. He loved Muriel and risked his life for her, on several occasions in the show. I honestly wish I was making what I just described to you up. Nothing is safe from "Robot Chicken," at all.

I could spend over two days explaining to you how utterly disgusting this show is, but I won't. I wanna finish this review as fast as I can and vent on it, so I won't have to talk about it again.
