Background: Born into a family of actors, Akio was raised in a surrounding where emotions were rather seldomly shown, since it was difficult for his father to let go of a role he had performed the night, and during the day he slept. His mother was the perfect housewife, always caring for the well being of others and not herself, she was always last in line when it came to demands, and so Akio's memory of her have already begun to fade and blur (eventhough she's still alive). When he was old enough to perform minor roles, his father would drill him until he became perfect, and never made a mistake. From this training he benefitted tremendously, but emotionally got stuck in a world with no one to share feelings with.

In comes Hatsune, at the age of twelve, sent over to learn the graceful movements the boy needed to have to pass as a girl. And who better to teach than the most famous "onnagata" in the whole town? Thus Hatsune attended the same lessons as Akio, and the two (though they hardly ever spoke yes, Hatsune actually spoke to Akio) became friends. This friendship still lasts, and explains why Akio is one of the best customers of the ~Barazoku
Not only does he purchase his hair-dye there, he often sends for Hatsune to accompany him home. But recently rumour has it that he's set his sight on Hatsune's model apprentice.....

It is also said that his family line has had some connection to spirits of fire and wolves, but this can neither be confirmed nor denied.
