During the 6 month drought last year, I was walking along the edge of this reservoir that had been severely drained of its water, leaving the shore littered with dead and devoured animal bits. Among them, I found a complete turtle shell, so I took it home and cleaned it. It was so sad without its former host, so I gave it a new one!
