My Fallout 4 Sole Survivor is war veteran who's ability to superhero the Commonwealth comes from his pre-war training, which would've involved lost technology like VR simulations. He started out on a warpath to avenge Nora and find Shaun, only to discover that his baby boy had become an old man who had lost his sense of compassion and empathy. I mean, he even admits he released the Sole Survivor as an "experiment" for his feelings. After Shaun's death, my Sole Survivor found peace with Piper (and our buddy Nick) and decided to help in the long road to rebuilding.
