after clovers death, dalv didnt take it very well basically erasing all development he had and running back to the ruins with nothing.
over time after frisks actions the monsters in the deeper ruins grew hungry, and dalvs corn wasnt enough, eventually they started to go after him because of his half human side and do he simply defended himself. he grew crazy until the new human arrived, being reminded of clover and wanting to keep them safe no matter the cost.
