Since I got a really positive response from the poll, here's the tutorial to follow up on that for you guys! :] Hopefully it'll be handy in some way, as well as understandable enough with my lil airbrushed examples~If you guys have any questions or want me to explain something further, just leave a question down in the comments!

Oh this is maybe one of the most useful -for me- tutorials since a long time! I was just wondering what was your method (I just have to try to adapt it to gimp)
this questioning didn't came to me because I'm thinking to prepare some animation about a particular "shooting star" that''s wrong!

Overall this tutorial is able to apply to any medium though, it's only the multiply section that kind of requires a computer art program
