Description Edit Struck out some old information and added in some new. This'll be completely redone later when my new ID's finished. >XDDD

Changed a few slight details on my persona, and for the first time ever I had a revelation as to what the point of the magic laser pen she's had in some pictures is for, or why her hair is all pointy and yellow, or why she's got a star on her head,

or why she has no ears or nose.

Some reason playing through a fresh new game after a while like Ratchet & Clank a Crack in Time really got my brain gears a grindin', and I came to the sudden realization that Kito isn't just a representation of my inner self- but she's also part of her own intergalactic species. >8D

She's part of a race of creatures known as "Shooting Stars"

Unlike their supposed 'star' counterparts, Shooting Stars are their own living and thriving race traversing the cosmos at light-fast speeds, all making their homestead on a place known to them as the Irnovan Observatory, somewhat of a large satellite dish that floats aimlessly in the depths of space.

It is a story passed down through the generations of creatures all over the galaxy, that if an unlucky traveler should fall prey to the depths of a black hole, if it is going super nova in that same instance, then they'll find their life spared, for they will have ended up in the homeland of Shooting Stars, Irnovan.

1. One of the biggest characteristics of an Irnovian is their "Path Finder", this handy device is essential for any Irnovian traversing the endless bowels of space and time. Think of it as an interstellar swiss-army knife. However rather than having any of it's own power, it simply is a vessel used for focusing and controlling the powers that a Shooting Star already possesses inside themselves. If you're just using it for travel, simply point and draw where you want to go! 2. Just note that it does have a limited draw distance, so if you want to go for a long time then you have to keep drawing the line ahead of you, amount of energy depending on how much energy the Irnovian bound to it has, so if you want to go for a long time you best not be careless in wasting the energy it has stored, else you'll be caught by the tail and fall off faster than a meteor in a shower!

A few other things to note about the Path Finder are as follows:

*Only 2 objects can be drawn at a time, meaning if yer drawing a light trail to run along, then ye are only able to draw one other object before the next one drawn ends up replacing the first.

Ex. I draw a light trail to run away from some badguys, then I draw a square to create a light wall to block their ammo, then when I draw a circle to create a light spring, my light trail will evaporate

*The Path Finder can be used to emulate a seemingly endless amount of objects, it's only limitations being the user's imagination, however there are 4 main default shapes that may be drawn for different effects-

Lines - Used to create trails for running on, sending out to find objects, or to just draw pictures
Circles - Create light springs, or nets for catching stuff depending on the intention
Squares - Creates light walls and/or platforms depending on the direction they're drawn
Triangles/Stars - Creates light spears, one of the quickest means of a weapon for an Irnovian to use

*The Path Finder can also be used to "reconstruct" things, and is how they grant most all wishes. If they want to repair something that's broken, they can draw an outline around the discombobulated object, then the Path Finder will find all the remnants that once made the object being repaired and put it together just like new by sending out beams of light to retrieve them.

Also if a person wishes for a toy or a food, rather than the Path Finder stealing it from a supermarket, it will instead "reconstruct" it based on what it appeared as in the person's own imagination. Even if the object they're wishing for didn't tangibly exist yet.

*The Path Finder has a limited amount of energy, and will need to be rechared much like any person would by getting lots of rest, it can be given extra energy if absorbing edible products of the users choice, however expending too much energy as compared to what the user has and this can cause a case of severe "Wish Sickness"

*When a Shooting Star is running across a light trail, they are able to move at light speed, but without it then they can move no faster than a normal person

*Every Shooting Star possesses a Path Finder, and they are usually given theirs at birth.

3. Another way to tell an Irnovian from the rest of the crowd is by their hair, every Irnovian is born at first with star shaped hair, but with age it will eventually bend and contort into it's own unique style, though it will always still retain 5 points, and will always stay yellow, only slightly whitening with old age. Many Irnovians have been known to dye their hair in order to stand out from the crowd.

4. Irnovians understand the lengths of the powers they've been given, and they take great stride to protect it. That isn't to say however that they don't use it to help others around the galaxies, in fact it's their job to! To people on the surface of any given planet, a shooting star passing over is a sign of good luck and a chance to make wishes, but from an Irnovian's point of view it's just another day at work for them. As they sweep over the planet, they look over the inhabitants to see who might be in a pickle, if the timing ends up right and somebody on the surface is at the right place at the right time, they may just find themselves lucky enough to be granted a "Wish of the Shooting Star", or in lamence terms a miraculous way to fix their dilema. What happens is if a Shooting Star finds something wrong, then with use of the Path Finder they can track down the "solution" to the problem and conveniently set it nearby so as the creature they were helping can find it and get along with their day.

Occasionally there is another method of wish granting that Irnovians can use with planetoid inhabitants which is called "Wishful Thinking", as noted below, given their lack of ears Irnovians are able to selectively choose what they hear, whether it's the sound coming from a person's mouth, or their own inner thoughts. In this case they can hear wishes that creatures make when they fly over. If they choose to from that point, Shooting Star's can use their Path Finder to specifically grant said wish, though if it isn't something tangible on that planet then there's a less likely chance they can grant it, so such a thing will happen less often.

In both cases, in order for an Irnovian to use their Path Finder to actually "find" something, they must sneak up to the wisher on the surface and tap them with the finder, so that it has a point of reference to go out and look for what it is that the person is wanting.

5. Generally, the Path Finder can be used for more than just a means of travel or an Metal Detector, it can be used to draw most anything an Irnovian desires to use. Though it will never come "quite" as close to or as good as the actual thing. So if you're hungry and are wanting a sandwich, it's best to just wait until lunch break.

Also to put it simple Irnovian's have no noses because they don't have a requirement to "breathe", the mouth is so they can communicate (obviously), and their lack of ears is simply because sound can't be heard in deep space, but they can still pick up sound when needed through telepathy, whether it's to hear people in normal conversation or to hear the wishes of other species far down on the surface of planets abroad.

Even though Shooting Stars go across the universe helping others and granting wishes, it is kept a strict policy to never interact directly with anyone outside of their race. The powers granted to them could be greatly misused if they got into the hands of some other species, and they don't want to take that risk-

I however detested this rule simply because there was NO ONE amongst my own kind I could ever make friends with >3> so I took it upon myself to move off as soon as I was old enough to grant wishes and make a homestead here in this new quadrant (or in real world terms moved from my old town down to this new one xDDD)

AND THERE YEH GO 8D This is a completely fresh idea that ah never thought of at all until yesterday so feel free to ask any and all pointless questions to help me build on this idea/explain things more than what I already have.

Aaaahh, now I get it.
I'm very impressed that you could come up with such meaningful reasons for why she looks the way she does. It's always incredibly important to make details have real grounded purposes. Especially if you want to craft stories and such around such characters and details.

It's taken quite a while, but it is indeed my most developed character and world- since it's who I'm always imagining inside my head to represent myself whenever I'm thinking about a game or show that I'm into.~ xD It's helped me a lot in figuring out all the little specifics and details of how her race works and how they interact with others. 👍: 0 ⏩: 0

"simply point and draw where you want to go" sound like Professor E. Gladd Magic Paintbrush

Your persona reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy
