So I found an old piece of art from m' good friend 's gallery that had to do with a cartoon on Discovery Kids called 'Kenny the Shark'

Curiosity struck me and I decided to look it up

And it is seriously one of the cutest cartoons I've seen :,P It's just a really fun and innocent show with these two awesome characters and some nifty shark facts thrown in the mix The plots of each episode aren't super high stakes, it's really easy going and filled with a lot of sweet moments ;v;

Frustrating thing NOW though is that finding all the episodes in english is pretty much a nightmare. The ones I've found and watched so far were uploaded from the only USA released DVD's of the show (and are in kinda poor quality), and then a few extra episodes that I found hiding on Dailymotion. All the other episodes have just kinda vanished into the aether :,P

Granted there is a youtube channel that has all 60-something 10 minute episodes uploaded, but they're all in Hebrew x,D I can still get the gist of the plots from the animation, but I'd really like to watch the rest of the episodes in english if I can. Especially since I really like Kenny's english voice actor. (Gotta look up what other shows the fella's worked on later)

ANYWAYS just as an excuse for something fun to work on I did a bunch of sketches with Kenny & Kat here, and then picked one to color up all nice and shiny~ I also really wanted an excuse to try out some water painting techniques from a few tutorials I checked out :>

I'll have the other sketches I did of them up in a sec

Many thanks also to Duodude for the brushes I used in making the backdrop. I used about 3-4 with my own random settings and I really liked the result. So you'll probably be seeing a lot of mileage out of them in my backdrops for the future, ya butt
