If it's for a piece of your OWN artwork- then no. But if you're just wanting to use it as a thumbnail for a video or your avatar or something, you're welcome to use it so long as you give credit back to me somewhere for the piece

1. Don't think too much about it
2. Have a good reference to work off from- for me it was the tree itself which I mimicked right from the intro of the game, though I did slightly alter it in it's overall appearance and put in some other locations that otherwise weren't around it in view before. No matter HOW much or how little you change the objects in a scene to fit the needs of your own personal background, it's still nicer to work from something rather than nothing at all. And it took me a LONG time to realize that, if I hadn't at all I'd still be doing gradients for background or really generic forests with animal crossing trees and lumps for hills. >XDDD
