Tbh, I would agree. Yes, Seychelles is a fictional character in the series, however, I just really never seemed to understand why they would hate a character over such things. I don't like her, nor do I like her, so I'm neutral. I never really bothered with the characters, I only cared about the plot and all. However, yes, her personality really bothers me. But I really liked her appearance before the fifth season. So I can't really say I'd hate her. I mean, she's just merely a character, and would not exist in real life aside from the fact she's a country in the fandom, but the character herself won't. So it seems completely irrelevant to hate someone who doesn't exist. Unless that is, you have met a person with the exact same qualities then kudos to you.

You are right, hating a fictional character IS weird, but what about those who is too 'over protective' over the SAME fictional character? For me is just the same.. they are weird too
The point is, both sides (the haters and the ones who likes Seychelles) for me are just those people who are not sure of themselves. I mean, we have different taste and opinion! But they keep maintaining this stereotypes saying "Anyone who has different opinion then me is a weaboo"
Since the hell when fangirl got called a weaboo for having different opinion? Since when fangirl got called 'dumb yaoi fangirls' for being different? That's what really bothers me about those 'girls character lovers'
I mean, they think Seychelles is them, and they hate anyone who doesn't think Seychelles is them? (aka those who hates seychelles)

Seychelles was supossed to represent YOU. Her first purpose was to represent the girl playing Gakuen Hetalia. Literally speaking, hating Seychelles would be like hating yourself.
In the game, she wasn't trying to date any guy. She just wanted to know them better, but she wasn't planning anything romantic with them. Some people even think she does this to have sex with them later. It's just sick.
Alright, she gets in the way of USUK. But everyone does! France gets into USUK! And so does Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, China, Norway, Canada, EVERYONE! But Seychelles gets all the hate just for being a female. Good job, fantards. Good job.

But I still though she needed love and so I made a RP account for her. No I don't hate her at all, she's my favorite female along with Hungary.
