Hello! I really want to make this but I'm kinda new to sewing... where exactly did you get your materials, and what kind of materials did you use? Because I bought this felt fabric but it doesn't look like yours. Also, how exactly do I sew the legs and stuff to the body? Thanks!

Piripanda In reply to xpeacelove [2010-08-24 15:37:11 +0000 UTC]
Ohhhh, maybe it's because of the name, it's polar fleece, but you can use any fabric you want
Here you can see some of the stitch i use in general for my plushies

the backstick is my favourite

Thank you for your reply!! The stitches picture really helps... but which stitch do you use to sew the arms and legs together? And which one do you use to close up the opening for the stuffing?
Thanks a bunch!

Those same too!!
I just make them smaller, the fabric is very soft, and if the thread is the same colour you can bearly see the stitches

What type of fabric is it? does it have a specific name or is it just "fleece"?

great tutorial! But how did you sew the tail, head, and feet on?

Piripanda In reply to eevee-to-umbreon [2010-03-24 02:05:04 +0000 UTC]
oh, just regular concealed stitches, polar fleece is really good for hiding the marks
