You brought out one of the best things about Doom with this piece: how colorful it was. Even when the world is shrouded in darkness and filled with hellspawn, the game never was dull and drab.

Maybe throw in secrets,clever level design, health and armor pickups.... Carry 10 Weapon at a time. I HATE two weapon limit.

Agreed. I thought Doom 2 would have online co-op and that's why my buddy and I bought BFG Edition of 3 and yet... no online for Doom 2 on PC.

Especially when you got into Hell with no flashlight. Seriously, has iD not heard of duct tape? I'd strap that shit to a rifle and be on my way. Felt proud I found the special iD block in Hell and got the special PDA.
