Description

As her home planet slowly dissipated into the blackness of the outer space, she tried to remember how she had been kidnaped and become a captive cargo on an alien spaceship. Slowly the cold metal of her prison walls faded away and in her mind´s eye she returned back to earth to the small town, where she had led her daily life.

It had been a mild summer evening and she was on her usually way back home. Not that this shabby district was very crowded that late in the night, but she never felt unsafe here before. Not until now, when something stirred in the shadows, a strange metallic noise that send a chill down her spine and led her to stop to cast an anxious look over her shoulder.

Update: I will leave this foregoing introduction and description as it is, since it has accompanied this picture for quite some time, but for everyone interested in this theme i have to point out that has written a story about the adventures of this young woman (by the way, she is called Alice) and a really good one too. Boding Shadows for AliceThe night seemed louder than normal as Alice turned to walk down a dimly lit alley.  There wasn’t anything specific that she could put her finger on.  She could hear sirens in the distance, but it certainly wasn’t the first time she had heard them in this neighborhood.  The traffic on the main road a couple blocks over seemed heavier than usual, but that might just be the result of a concert or baseball game.  She couldn’t recall if there was one scheduled for tonight.
She walked with her phone pressed to her ear.  It had been there for almost the entire journey.  She had dialed the number when she started, and ever since she had been in a repeating pattern of listening to it ring, hearing the beginning to the voicemail greeting, and then hanging up to hit redial.  With every cycle, her annoyance level grew.
“Hey Allie, you are not going to believe this,” her sister’s voice spoke f
