Art trade with ~He said I could draw whatever I want, so I decided to go for some fanart of his Black nuzlocke. In the pic we see Samir the Pansear and his boyfriend Philip the Zorua. In Samir's backflash, we see how Samir's father tried to kill Philip because he "tainted" his son aka made him gay, so they decide to run away. They planned on boarding a ship to Unova, buuuut that didn't go very well. I thought it'd be nice to show them on some rocks looking at the ocean, maybe talking about how soon they'll finally be able to be in peace once Samir's asshole dad can't follow them anymore.
I really enjoyed working on this, and even the ship turned out nicer than I thought it would :'D It's also the first time I've tried drawing rocks that way, and i think they turned out alright. I really liked Samir's backstory and made me appreciate him even more as a character, so I wanted to make this tribute, and I'm pleased with the final outcome~~

Oh man. Ooooh man. My literal first reaction was whispering "holy shit" to myself. Like. Dude.
I really don't know what to say. I mean, it's perfect in every way possible. The colors, the composition...and I really, really like how Philip looks like a fox (kinda missed that myself while drawing him, but you definitely nailed it).
Probably my favorite part is the texture on the (at that moment) happy boyfriends. That. Looks. So. Cool! The second favorite is definitely those rocks. Amazing.
Now excuse me while I'm going to scan my half of this trade so you can have it. It's definitely not this cool, but I hope you'll like it.

i actually got both samir and philip on my first try, i liked the sketches so much that i kept them right away. i also liked how you added whiskers to philip and gave him an actual nose, looks much better than that fuzz from the anime, he looks rather french 8D
i like the pokes and the rock more than i like the background actually. i feel like i added too many stars, let's say it was a real starry night
