Anyhoo, Im glad to be finally done with this :'DD (I kinda feel like I say this everytime I post a new strip :v)
I guess you can see which part I started drawing end August and which one yesterday, it's kinda amazing to see how one can draw 6 pages in a few hours and nothing at all in almost 2 months D:
I know I promised some battles last time, but I really wanted to get these plot points out of the way, and by that I mean my *ahem* interpretation of the PC system and more hinsight on Vera's "motives" for going on a "journey". If all of that seems pretty confusing to you up to this point, don't worry, that's because of my lazy storytelling many things have to be said yet, and they were kinda getting to the point until *legasp* ANOTHER ELITE TRAINER APPEARED!
Fyi, it took me longer to draw that ass npc than half of this update >:v I just couldn't find a way to draw the eyes right for the life of it, and I'm still not satisfied with it. How do you human?
also, I drew Torchic without refs, I feel proud
Next time, more battle, more drama, and (maybe) finally some trees!

That Wurmple face began to piss me off... What, he is gonna be depressed about this whole nuzlocke thing forever? I know he was somewhat delusionned but the fact she still love him is enough.
Vera will need to understand that if she want to get stronger, she will have to battle. Hope she change her mind lol
On the good side, I love how you draw Torchic and that Elite Trainer. Love that Marill reaction when the beach didnt appear quick enough and Mudkip face afterward. I just hope we will never see that Marill again. We need more nice Pokemon for a change, her wingull is nice, why she cant have more nice Pokemon ??

I love it when pages are gigantic but the quality doesn't drop. Nice job (I also think Vera is a nice, original choice for an OC. Too many times we have the person who has been learning all their life about pokemon, and have the skills to challenge the League from the start. In this, there are many opportunities for Vera to grow, develop, and gain more confidence.)
