Now let's all just contemplate my creativity when it comes to titles... all good? Good. This is the last picture I'll be posting for now, and the last in a series of Zelda pictures I drew over the past week. this time it's Hyrule Field from Ocarina of Time, and while I mostly like everything in this picture, I think I screwed up Link pretty badly. I reeeally suck at drawing humans, so I had to erase him around 10 times in order to get the anatomy right, and the face is completely butchered anyways. At least Epona looks nice ;v;
The background is, again, copied from an in-game angle somewhere around the stone wall in the middle of Hyrule Field, and I wanted a shot with Death Mountain visible but not Hyrule Castle because I don't want to draw buildings haha

The brightness and vividness of grass and sky only reminds me of Majora's Mask's moon, haha. Your landscape pieces are great! And about Link, it's hard to tell since the picture's so small, perhaps the Master Sword looks a bit short but I think overall you did quite good job with him. ^^ I love the hue combination in this, especially how Link's shirt matches with the grass and trees.

you're right now that i look at it, these graphics are just so nice to look at :3 the moon would be another interesting pic to draw though~ but thank you! and yeah, the master sword does look a bit small, i didn't want it to cover the boot but i didn't notice how short it is haha i really like drawing with green and blue, so i'm glad you like it!

Yeah you're great at making nature, grass and stuff yadda yadda, but I can't help but notice how you have said (many times) how you don't like drawing humans and buildings. Have you ever thought about changing that? Like, start drawing stuff you don't like. I did that once and look what it did: I've managed to improve my art in a way I never thought would be possible. And now I almost enjoy more drawing stuff I used to hate to draw, haha.
It's just a thought.

me saying that all the time is more like a running joke (to myself), but it's true that i'm not comfortable with drawing humans. i actually am trying to change that, though, and that was actually what inspired me to do these zelda paintings. i personally prefer pictures with interesting backgrounds, rather than just characters standing/sitting around, but i've tried to draw link in various positions, although i kept him small for the sake of me failing at anatomy. i've tried drawing him standing, sitting, fishing, and now horseback riding. i'm kinda trying to ease myself into it, and i did notice the slightest improvement in drawing standing characters. as for buildings... i'll try T_T
