I swear this bomb is the best thing ever
Even tho I had a strong hunch it was gonna happen, nothing could prepare me to how UTTERLY GORGEOUS OMG that entire scene was, like right out of a movie. Those colours, holy crap, and the background music, oh my god. Oh, and yes, THEY ARE GETTING MARRIED HOLY COW MY DREAMS HAVE COME TRUE this arc was fantastic! They've both come to realize that they can be indivuals, but still love each other and Garnet is from now on going to be a choice, and this episode is officially my new favourite in the show (previously it was Keystone Motel, so it's not hard to see a pattern here)

I'm going to be frank with you. I'm not a big fan of wild west stuff, and this episode had sooo much of that.
...but everything was so cute I mean Ruby is the most adorable thing and oh my god that proposal I swear I screamed several times when I first saw it was just too much.
Ahem.
Great job on this, by the way. The way you did the sun and the rays coming from it, and the sand looks so, so good and have great depth. Sapphire looks a bit awkward, but otherwise you did great.

i'm kind of indifferent towards the genre, and maybe it's because i'm extremely biased, but i thought it fit the tone of the episode perfectly (plus ruby looks adorable in that outfit, especially the pants)
i watched the episode at 1 AM so i couldn't exactly scream, instead i was just quitely chanting "yes yes yes" to myseld :'D
i'm actually surprised by how well the sun turned out. the first time i scanned it i'd left the sun completely white (like in the episode), but the brightness was so ridiculous that i had to go back and colour it in. i'm glad i did, since now it has a more realistic look. drawing sapphire gave me some trouble, it's surprisingly hard to draw characters with just one eye, and i prefer drawing her with the hair covering it, but i wanted it to be like in the episode

i'm pretty sure it's either greg, or they used some of the money stashed in pearl's head (which she pulls out in "a single pale rose"), same goes for the rest of the wedding preparations
