Wow. Okay, so it has been years since I watched Naruto. I left the fandom a long while back because the series started taking itself way too seriously, lost the heart it had when it first started and became all about the fight sequences, but I'm a firm believer that even if you leave a fandom, you can always still love the characters.This little fella, Kabuto, was one of my very first favorite anime characters. He more or less set the tone for the types of characters I'd be drawn to in the future (i.e. antagonists/pseudo-antagonists who find that balance between being intimidating and funny) and he was honestly the main reason why I watched the show. And so I wanted to draw him again after maaaaaaybe five years as a tribute, since I still think he's pretty darn cool. I wish I still had some of my old pictures of him; my style's totally changed since then XD

I left D.Gray-Man when it became too serious... But I still love alot of the character ^W^

Good old Kabuto. ^^ He's funny even when he's not trying to be, because he's so serious... and then he pushes his glasses up with his middle finger. And I crack up. XD

D'aww! I especially like the musical note on his headband. 
As for old fandoms... I used to love InuYasha, and even though I kinda fell out of the loop before I finished the anime, Sango's always been one of my all-time anime characters.

Well, I've never watched Naruto but I can give some input by telling you a little story. The very first time I ever went to a con, I was amazed as all the great cosplayers and all the anime things. The moment I walked through the door, like literally the second I stepped foot inside, I hear two venders talking to each other saying "Get ready for all the Narutards" XD
