Let's go on a journey, a journey through time~!So two weeks prior to the next convention I'll be going to (Katsucon) my girlfriend and I decided to put together cosplays of humanized versions of the Clock and Notepad from the videos "Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared"
They're wonderfully creepy characters, and it's been lots of fun to put my cosplay together. I'm not finished yet, and this is simply a WIP/makeup test, but I wanted to share it with you all the same

Thanks a lot ^_^ I used Ben Nye makeup for this cosplay; you can order it online! But be sure to also buy something called Ben Nye Final Seal as well; it is a setting spray that keeps your makeup in place and keeps it from rubbing off anywhere!

Thank you so much! The face paint I use is a mixture of Kryolan blue and Ben Nye light grey, since the blue makeup is actually WAAAY too dark a shade of blue without some mixing a light grey into it! It looks matte because I use a sealing spray and then translucent powder to take the shine out of it ^_^

Not quite. The sealing spray I use is Ben Nye's sealing spray. It's meant for theatrical makeup rather than everyday use, so it's very very strong and prevents any sort of running of the makeup!

Nice nose and jawline. Fantastic cheekbones. You might want to make your lips a bit darker and not have your eyebrows so thick.

I'm glad you like my makeup! I didn't go with darker lips, since more often than not, women have darker and more prominent lips while men's lips tend to be closer to their skin tones, and even though Tony's blue, I felt that rule should apply to my cosplay as well hehe.

I meant just a little bit darker instead of the exact same blue, because it makes the akeup look more artificial.

That's so awesome! It's always fun to see other people cosplaying from DHMIS since there's so much room for making up fun and interesting costume and makeup designs! After all, they're inanimate objects so there's no right and wrong way to make a human version of them!
