As CrystalizedRain has deleted their tutorial, this tutorial became pretty useless unless you know what to do with converted fbx motions. I also don't really remember what to do nor how I used to rip animations, so I'm not really able to help any of you anymore, sorry, just wanted to be helpful by doing this thing 2 years ago! I won't delete this, maby it will be useful for someone doing something in the future
Ok, so as I promiesed here's a tutorial on how to use Noesis with mimnode's script. This tutorial only covers the noesis usage, for converting files you ripped I strongly recommend CrystalizedRain/Animation Freak's tutorial, here's the link to it ! Consider this as an in-depth tutorial for 1st step of his tutorial

You should also look through deviantart after your wanted motion, there's a high chance somebody has ripped it already! Example could be FlyingSpirit-P rips (they are really well-made and don't require any additional bones!) Link to his motion rips .

What do you need:
    Noesis by Rich Whitehouse link

    .farc/.bin files from choosen Project Diva game. You can rip from Dreamy Theather, Future Tone, F, F2nd, and X games. You have to find files and look how to open game roms yourself.

    Luigi Auriema's quickbms link and Chroxx's script for it link (the .bms file) to convert .farc file you need into .bin

    minmode's script for Noesis link

    Something to edit minmode's noesis script, I prefer notepad++ link

To show game's folder structure I'm using Dreamy Theather, it may vary from game to game, although "rob" and "objset" folders should exist in every PD game from what I know. "mot" folder is required only to rip from F2nd/X games.

Guide:
1. Download all necessary files listed above, unpack them if needed
2. Create folder with structure stated by minmode. If you can't understand his text guide here's a picture how it should look link
3. Put bone data from game folder into the same folder as mot, rob and objset (for example in Dreamy Theater can be found in USRDIR\rom
4. Find .farc motion file of the song that you want to rip in . You can find which mot_PV is which by listening to several pv_number.ogg in USRDIR\rom\sound\song
5. Use quickbms with Chroxx's script to convert mot_PV.farc into .bin file and put .bin file into whatever you name this folder\rob This is pretty straightforward so I'll skip it from now on. If the file you need is farc just use quickbms again and convert it.
5. Find mot_db.bin in USRDIR\rom\rob and copy it into whatever you name this folder\rob
6. Find a model file from your game (should be in USRDIR\rom\objset) and copy it into whatever you name this folder\objset. For example mikitm.bin is a collection of miku models, just convert it with quickbms and choose your objset folder as an export destination.
7. Copy tex_db.bin from USRDIR\rom\objset into whatever you name this folder\objset
8. Open your noesis folder, put the downloaded minmode's script into NOESIS\plugins\python and edit it as he has shown with eg. notepad++ (link if you somehow can't find it...)
9. Run noesis and find your "whatever you name this folder"
10. Open a model_name_obj.bin from objset folder. It doesn't really matter which one you use, however I prefer using something that looks simple for clarity in viewing motions, like miktim061, without fancy dresses like snow miku etc.
11. Use File>Export From Preview. Choose .fbx output file type and add -fbxframerate 60 in Advanced Options. Check No Textures to optimize time. Click Export. (picture guide of how your window should look link )

do you know if its possible to rip the face motions with this? they come in files named MOT_MIK, MOT_KAI, etc etc for each character but when i set the script to load them and open the head the motion is not loaded, just the model :/ other ppl have been able to do this so im pretty sure its possible i just cant get it to work. ive even tried specifying a mot inside the mot_mik bin (mot_mik_kuchi_a and such) and still it doesnt work....just really want the official facials ugh

It works, just do the same except edit the script to "MIK" (for Miku's facials) or whoever you want

i tried that, but like i said it just doesnt load the motion when i choose the head model :/ ive tried with the script set to MIK and MOT_MIK and even tried pointing to specific animations inside the bin but nothing works hhh

That’s odd. Does the script work with normal dance motions? Check to see if that works first because that happened to me

motID's are only for F2nd and X' motions, you do not need them for AFT but i'm still not sure how to solve "file could not be previewed", sorry

are you ripping DLC motion? if it supposes to be a DLC's motion then it would say file could not be previewed

Thanks for the explanation but one of the things or numbering of the list would be the .bin which I do not have when i need to export of F 2nd for being able to ask if you could give a download link before the same files needed for the ripping.
