This is in Tucson isn't it? On like Campbell and speedway? I saw this wallpaper on PixelGirlPresents and I kept thinking I had seen this place before. I like it, strange how it was familiar...

It's small cause the artist wanted to leave plenty of space for the sky. As he explained, he places a lot of things on his desktop, so he wanted lotsa empty space.

I have a style after my work! Great job pitkon, I'm loving it. Downloaded for try out.
As for the wall, I need a lot of open space of my desk because I usually have Samurize configs, desktop widgets and other assorted junk. I use pretty minimal walls so that there is less distraction.

too much of sky...more space is needed to be filled with building or to have some birds/planes crossing the sky.

well, i guess to make the building more lonely, the artists could've put the building by itself in the middle of nothing (or mebbe desert) to create that lonely feeling.

well, i dunno, you don;t have to use desert, but just something like that you know? coz the fact that there is only one building in the open desert makes the lonileness stand out more.
