Description

By and large, we tend to feel our “self” as an ego trapped inside of a body looking out; or at least we identify only with our body. There is “me” vs everything else. This is the common view. And I believe that’s because what we feel tends to override what is logical.

I don’t think it’s wrong; just one way of perceiving.

From my perspective—what makes sense to me these days—is that we are not simply “little old me” vs everything, but are, in fact, EVERYTHING, experiencing the universe (our self), sensing it all by way of the body.

However, this is even still a doubling of the self. Because the body is also not “in” the universe but “of” the universe.

Just as much as the spectrum of light, planets, moons, comets, stars, galaxies...all cosmic bodies are made up of patterns of molecules that are comprised of atoms that are made up of particles (or wavicles when unobserved) that come into existence for such a short amount of “time” that they could be said not to even exist…

So too, is this body we identify with made up of molecules made up of atoms made up of wavicles made up of vibrations of multi-dimensional space.

Not just that, but we are the space inbetween.

Because it only takes a little bit of thinking on the fact that if we were somehow able to remove all the empty space between our organs and inside as well as all the space between the molecules, all the space between the atoms, the space between the particles that make up the atoms..

Remove all of that empty space and all 7.5 billion people on earth would fit inside of an apple.

Therefore, empty space is just as much “us” as what’s “there”. It brings all things into being.

Your ego is just an illusion.

You are the whole shebang realizing itself through a particular track of reality that you call “I”.

We are ALL OF IT.

Once this is not only logically posited, but sensibly perceived, one can no longer feel that we are an isolated ego inside a bag of skin; lonely and afraid.

You realize that the feeling of “I”—this “me” I feel myself to be—IS everything.

You are god—not the dude sitting on a throne managing existence.

You are the universe.
