This CG took forever because of its EPIC UBER LIGHTING FAIL. I could list all the things I hate about this work but it'd take forever. Still experimenting, obviously - I guess it's good progress though...? And I'm really happy to be working on my tablet in between homework and college applications. ^___^Random title again. Well, Sheena's a Summoner, plus the fact that the background looks like it could be twilightdusk-ish. And a bit of alliteration there for you. YAY?!
And do I have to say it again: Sheena FTW.

If you have a Gamecube, Tales of Symphonia's pretty much your only choice when it comes to anime RPGs.
There's value in backgrounds. I'll get around to learning how to do them someday.

My Gamecube's still kicking around, and even then I've got my Wii--I'll borrow it from one of my friends...eventually. XD
I can draw landscapes--I've done it decently before in art class--but for some reason, I'm never motivated to do them in drawings I just draw for myself...

Landscapes, sure, they're fine. But behind a figure or a couple of figures...well, yeah. It's problematic for me.

Really nicely done :] You might want to try backgrounds in the future when you get even better. It could've used a little more shadow here and there, but for a first time (or early attempt) it's pretty good.
