Wow… seriously, this is incredible work. I'm a huge fan of the Legend of Zelda series and of Rosalina, but this? This crosses into a whole new field. Taking the basic approach, we have a great transition of a princess into the occupation of the adventurer. Luma makes a great Navi while Epona provides a masterful steed for our princess from the stars.
Taking a more in-depth approach, we have this beautiful piece, showcasing a beloved character in the world of a legendary one. You're use of lighting is expertly done, seemingly capturing the period of time when the sun descends just below the tops of the trees. This casting of dark shadows creates an ethereal feel to our intergalactic princess.
Your crisp lines and intricate details on Rosalina's hair and clothing is truly amazing and stands out more than expected when laid over your simple yet captivating background. This background is eye-catching and reminiscent of 1950's style Disney movies, in particular I was reminded of Sleeping Beauty.
All in all, you did an excellent job combining these two beloved characters and eliciting deeper feelings, at least from this viewer. I can't say enough how much I like this piece.
