Love can last as long as you make it to be. It can last up to a lifetime or a little while, it depends if two people truly love each other and would be committed to each other for a long time. It doesn't matter what others think, it only matters on what you two think, love is love no matter what. It's cheesy bu true

My great grandparents met when he was 10 and she was 6. By the time he was 12 and she was 8 they were best friends. They married when she was 18 and were together until they died when he was 94 and she was 90. They died within two months of one another. He held on until she died, and then passed away two months later.

They were together their whole lives. It can happen, and it DOES happen.

You guys won't last very long
You've probably lasted longer then most people do in your grade, in their "relationships." And you guys will last for quite a while, hopefully. Who knows? Maybe you'll be one of those people who ends up with the person they've been dating, like, their entire life. It does happen.

You'll have to break up eventually
You don't have to. You do whatever you want to do. If it doesn't last, well, you learned a lot and can learn from any mistakes in the relationship, and move forward.

You can't be together forever, you're too young
"You're too young" is one of the dumbest things I hear. Who cares how young you are? If you love someone, you love them. It doesn't matter if you're three, thirteen, twenty, fifty... there's no age limit on love. It just happens.

About love... From my perspective it's supposed to hurt and it's supposed to begin and everything that begins has to end so that something new can begin. And I think that's how you get new experiences and become stronger and build up new wisdoms. But how would I know? I'm just another monster in the darkness.
