This is really beautiful. I have always been intrigued by modo but don't know how valuable (or how hard) it would be to learn, coming from MAX as I do.

As for Modo, I come from a Max background as well and I found Modo to be pretty easy to pick up and use. I use it for sub-d modeling more than Max now. I believe they have a free trial version... I recommend that you check it out.
