Description
With Young Justice being canceled, I wanted to make a little tribute piece for spitfire showing the possible "what could have happened" scenario. While I like how Artemis took up the mantle of Tigress at the end of season 2, I didn't just want to put Wally back in his KF outfit. I decided to fit Wally with a Flash outfit, making a hybrid design of Kid Flash and the Flash as well.Young Justice is a copyright of DC.2013

The only things off are the body proportions mostly. Wally's hands look too small in comparison to the rest of his body. Artemis' body is too small in comparison to her head but her torso to legs proportion is correct, so I would suggest sizing them up to match her head. Otherwise she would seem uncharacteristically tiny in comparison to Wally. Her ankles seem to be missing a curve by being too straight. There should be a bump or two there from bones, muscles and boot material.
I would also recommend something else for the background rather than it being left transparent to add more life to picture but that is a hit or miss. It really would depend on what you want picture for.
I like the combination of Artemis and Wally's insignias, nice touch. The mixture of Barry's Flash costume and Wally's KF one is nicely balanced. It is up to do you but I would recommend outlining circle of his chest symbol since that was the old way of telling Wally's design from Barry's in the comics but that is more a personal choice.
My favourite part is how the detailing on Wally's chest armour is well done because it looks realistic, almost 3D texture like someone could touch it. For most of that, I would compliment your shading to be able to give it that quality. Good job

Yeah I did notice some proportionality problems once the picture was finished. I also noticed Tigress' arm behind Wally is unrealistically long. I defiantly see room for improvements. The background was something I struggled with for longer than I was hoping for XD I think I changed it five times before going for something kind of simple.
Thank you, I'm glad you like the hybrid design for Wally. I did like how the combo logo turned out as well. I struggled a bit with color balancing on it. Thank you for the kind critique, it's nice to hear constructive criticism but still hear what you've found enjoyable about this.

I find this work great and it's a good idea you have with wirth the Wally outfit. I'm sad to hear the show is cancel but in the same time i'm glad they close the show the seconde season was horrible and did like the way it's end.

To think this was the only pairing I liked in Young Justice. Wally has grown on me over the past years, I was really enraged that they killed him off. Granted, he died as a hero, but that doesn't make it any less sad, and I would have liked to see him become Flash too.

As far as I know (in the comics anyway) Wally does eventually end up taking over The Flash's job as The Flash and Impulse the new Kid Flash. Really awesome picture though and looking forward to Season 3 in March next year ^^

Yeah, typically Wally becomes the Flash, hence why its kinda out of left field that he died but knowing DC they'd brought him back in some way. Hopefully they'll bring it back for a season 3

The painful part is The Scarab doesn't exactly say what'll happen to him. He just says he'll cease so he COULD be alive XP Damn you DC. Hopefully they'll bring it back and explain everything

The cut lines from the finale doesn't make it any easier since Wally does say he wanted them to get back into heroing. Guess putting on the spandex again reminded him of the good part of it.

I love spitfire and am devastated that Wally died!
Especially as the scene continued I thought "Ah, I see where they're going with this! Barry dies saving Wally!" And then Wally becomes the Flash, Just like in the comics.
But when it was Wally that died... I just died too o~o

It does suck that it happened but at the same time it wasn't a series final, it just got canceled. So I'm not too upset cause DC tends to find a way to bring their characters back. I'm sure he would have come back at some point in season 3. Hopefully the series will come back in some way and we'll get him back.

I think that they killed Wally off as a trigger starter for the mass retaliation of fans to want a season 3 of Young Justice, but that's my personal belief on why they killed him off.

Actually he and Artemis were going to go back into the business, the original script that Greg and cast made said so, but those lines, which were said at the kiss in Paris, were cut because of time constraints.
