Here is the first tutorial in a set of Paint Tool SAI tutorials that I am making. I thought that a settings tutorial would be the best to post first, as I will refer to this tutorial in future tutorials.I hope I explained everything well. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Nice tut. When i try to access your site it says "This webpage is not available" but i can access other sites normally. I'm using chrome could that be it? I also tried firefox and got the same result.Β

What does the " Quality " setting adjust ? When I make a new brush , that is one of the adjustments for it :
Β I don't notice what its doing . Β It has four number Β settings>Β
1- Fastest , 4- Smoothest . Β What is this effecting ?Β

You can also set tools with their own stabilizer, if you need an exact one with specific tools! (just double click the brush)

it was that easy to add a new tool
i spent like 2 hours of freaking out and getting super pissed off trying to google it and pressed like every button and it was literally as easy as right clicking

I used to draw with paint tool sai but I changed to Mac later and I could not find paint tool sai Mac version. NowΒ I usedΒ paint tool sai on win andΒ a good tool Alternative to Paint tool for MacΒ named MyBrushes to draw.Β

This is one of the easiest to understand, yet comprehensive Paint Tool Sai tutorials I've ever seen. I've been using Sai for a while, and learned something new just in the first couple of pages, LOL. Thanks SO much. I could watch PTSai flash tutorials like this all day.
Do you ever plan on creating some more advanced tutorials on how settings can be used/adjusted to create custom brushes and how the different brushes work? ^_^

Yeah, if you want to use the pen sensitivity you need a tablet.

the advanced settings aren't exactly working for me. The brush strokes are bulky and don't end with a smooth thin result. I've tried all the settings but nothing is happening. Can someone help?

I had some drivers issue with my tablet before and I do something similar and everything work now.
Try to uninstall and reinstall SAI after doing that but if you have custom brushes, save their settings before doing this !

well, you technically need a license for it (www.systemax.jp/en/sai/) although you can try it out with the trial verson for a month

my sai seemed to glitch somehow to the paint no mater what i do it seems to keep with a same type every time it doesnt matter is i used a paint brush or a pen its the same thing.. any way to fixed this??

You need to recalibrate your Β pen, then it should work.
