Description
Here is the first tutorial in a set of Paint Tool SAI tutorials that I am making. I thought that a settings tutorial would be the best to post first, as I will refer to this tutorial in future tutorials.I hope I explained everything well. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
WOW! Thank you so much for the daily deviation!!! It is quite an honor! Thank you!!!

thank you for making this!
theres one thing i want to know about:
when i do linework on the Linework layer, after i compleate it and use the magic wand to select the area i want to colour, tiny white (they look white but theyre very light grey) marks are left unselected because theyre sort of... blended into the linework making grey. its annoying and time consuming if i have to select them too with the Selpen, but really messy if i leave it. help? xS

One good way to overcome that problem is to create a new layer under the line art for the color. Then, when you select those areas using the magic wand, try using Transparency (Strict) as the selection method and a Transparency Difference of 35. Make sure that you are applying the color to the separate layer, this is very important. That way, if any dots are left after filling them in, you can just use a tool to paint in the areas without affecting the line art. I'm not sure if I explained that well... lol. Let me know if that helps.
