Chester
Rattata, Male
Chester is a friendly, playful rattata and a bit of a thrill seeker. He likes making new friends even with usually dangerous pokémon. One day, he made a bet with his rattata pals that he could find a bird pokémon willing to take him for a flight on it's back. Lucky for him, he met Rust, rather than a more vicious pokémon which may have viewed him as breakfast. However, he's not stupid and took the precaution to learn thundershock, just in case he was attacked for asking such a cheeky favour. Ever since, Chester and Rust have been good friends.

Rust
Skarmory, Female
Rust is a cautious skarmory, who would rather avoid conflict, preferring to talk her way out of situations than resort to fighting. Usually, she keeps quiet unless spoken to, but listens attentively. She's thoughtful and curious, she loves going new places- carefully, of course. Somewhat rusty around the edges, this comes from spending a great deal of time near the ocean on her travels. The sound of the waves is worth a little rust from the salty air, and it doesn't really bother her.
She was surprised upon meeting Chester, that a rattata would not just approach her but try to befriend her! Quietly flattered, she took the rattata on his requested flight, and the rest, they say, is history.
