Kinda liked the idea of Smaug singing be prepared like Scar did from Lion King.Also sorry for the lack of art on here guys a lot of things have been going on, including getting sick again, and I had quite a few art blocks. But luckily my drawing passion is coming back and I'm also finishing off the commissions I started.
Anyway drawing Smaug again was just nice as I do love drawing him in this style, I know I said I imagined him to have Tim Curry's voice but I kinda like Jeremy Irons better just because it sounds better in my head.
Hopefully I'll be drawing more soon peeps.

Your design of Smaug is really unique here like a kid's cartoon version of the movie and book! and gotta love the gold sparkles on his chest~Β
I also liked the idea of his voice of Jeremy Irons seems feeting too

Thank you c: I kinda wanted to capture what it would have been like if Disney or more desirably Don Bluth had made the Hobbit into an animated feature. I know there was already one done by Rankin Bass, and Smaug in that has a interesting design. I'm really glad you liked this, I had a tone of fun drawing it
