Tempest sat upon the high rocky outcrop and watched, as the land below him was swallowed up by the wildfire. A once beautiful and lush landscape; one of deep sweeping valleys, rivers that twisted and turned like the tail of a snake, and trees so tall you could swear they held up the very sky itself, now a meer memory in seconds. He watched as the fire demons danced between the flames tormenting those unlucky enough to be caught in their cage.
He watched as the smoke bellowed above him blocking the sun, spreading is black body across the sky. Snatching away the air. He watched as the heat began to sting at his eyes and throat.
However his focus was on something else, there was one soul he was keeping an eye on. A lion. A lion he knew all too well. His reddish brown mane almost blending into the blaze. He watched this lion as he ran towards the river, dodging falling trees, debris, and other animals panicking as they tried to find a way out. Finally the lion found the river and jumped in, for a moment he stood there and looked up towards Tempest. His eyes full of desperation, and hate. Eventually he started to walk down the river away from the chaos that was spreading across the land.
Tempest growled, as he watched his enemy get away. Then he spoke over the roaring flames, calling out to the lion who was now meerly a speck in the smoke.
"Don't think you are rid of me Ember! No matter how far you run, my shadow will always be at your feet!" with that he turned a left the land to be devoured by madness.

Ayyyy! Felt like doing a more dark moody picture which is a change from the heartwarming, cute pictures I draw. I'm actually kinda proud on how this turned out.
Tempest is the bad guy in Embermane's story and I will eventually get round to writing that someday.
