Hey Peeps,
So you're probably wondering "Embermane redesign?" well yes but actually no. The reason I say this is because this character is not Embermane yes he looks like him but actually he's a compeletly seperate entertiy. For a while My Pride fans assumed that every character I wrote in Embermane's backstory was automatically canon to the show because well Embermane was canon to the show, I will admit that at first I just rolled with it not really taking into account how the creator felt about this, I eventually did talk to the creator of My Pride who stated that they didn't want the characters in Embermane's backstory to be canon because it would be too many characters to keep track of. Which is totally fair as My Pride is not my show it's theirs.

After thinking it over for the past few months since the show concluded, I decided that the story I wanted to tell with Embermane and the characters in his story really didn't fit the My Pride universe anymore. As I was starting to come up with a different Lore and worldbuilding that honestly would just not work with the shows Lore. Even though I have told fans that the story and characters connected to Embermane were not canon to the show, I am aware that most of them don't follow my social medias or due to the scrambled nature of the timelines and the algorithm things get lost in the sauce.
So just to breifly clear things up EmberMANE is still canon to the show and can be written however the creator wants him to be written, I would most likely just be a creative consultent if that ever happens.
However Ember is not canon to the show, and instead is the character I wish to write about seperate from the My Pride story. His name may not always stay as Ember it may change and his design if need be in the future, but for now I hope this clears things up. I look forward to writing down his story when I have time. Of course a lot of characters including Ember himself are going to change (as you may have noticed on the ref sheet his parentage and pride have changed a bit) as I start to plan things out.

Please do not think that I'm doing this because I "hate" My Pride now. While I do have my own critisims of the show I don't hate it. I just want to tell my own story with my own lion characters that isn't attached to any exsisting property.
